The city is being extorted and blackmailed and forced into it, they ran off and took over city property, a police precinct. The mayor is too weak to be in charge of protecting the law abiding citizens and should reign immediately. The governor should give them 8 hours to disband and then move in with all necessary force.

 

The anarchist are armed I don't think the legal residents will have much choice they already have to have to permission of the anarchist for entry.

As shown previously in this thread, you have a judicially recognized constitutional right to travel. Arguably, you have that right to travel freely. And so, as a consequence of the closing of roads, you are being prevented from enjoying your right to free travel, a constitutional infringement.

Since this right already has judicial precedent, you would likely win a challenge if you brought action against those who allowed the road closures, provided you could sustain the challenge.

In this article, the Seattle Police states that they have has anecdotal reports of extortion of the business with in insurrectionist controlled areas. I can only guess that the reports have been received anecdotal because those making the reports are afraid of retaliation for contacting the police.

I don't know where you get your information from, but it is wrong. The National Guard is constantly drilled on Urban Peacekeeping and Combat roles. I would even say that they train more for these situations then the local and state police does. When was the last time you saw your local police "training" to keep order during a protest? Most police officers receive training at the police academe, and then they get a briefing just before they deploy. But the National Guard trains for these situations several times a year.

Given their equipment and training, the Natural Guard is far better equipped to deal with an armed insurrection. But the one drawback is that the Socialist Mayor is siding with the Insurrection. To make matters worse, the Governor of Washington had no idea that the City of Seattle had lost control of what is now 7 blocks. My question is who represents the business owners and residents rights? Obviously not the leaders of CHAZ, not the Mayor, not the City Council, and not the clueless Governor. It is going to have to be the President, and the National Guard.
