Alas ... they are ignorant in their higher indoctrination, learning only what their handlers (teachers) want them to know. Obviously intellectually lazy, they don't want or need the full picture of anything to whine like a bunch of babies for iwants.

This “autonomous zone” is just a label.
They are not really attempting to secede. If they did, they’d start real creating administrative divisions, military, even currency. They did not “expel” police, cops left on their own. Cops are not coming back not because they can’t but because the mayor does not order them to. Media is exploiting the protest with such name to embarrass Trump and he seem to continuously pick the bait. My old friend from Ukraine with whom I grew up and did not talk with for years, reached out to me just 2 days ago asking about “separatists” in Seattle. I ended up explaining to her how the distribution of power works and what this protest is in reality. Media portraits separatism in the US to hurt Trump, but it doesn’t mean there is real separatism movement in Seattle.
So, in reality, the event is a city-sanctioned protest that to many feel like a street festival. The easiest way to disperse that crowd is to allow summer festivals to happen and stop madness with WuFlu.

Yes, here's some old news, 6.14.20, for those here who choose to keep their heads up their butts:

"The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ, is a six-block radius in Seattle that has been taken over by protesters demanding ... [stuff] ... The area has become a cop-free space and some of the protesters are armed, hired to provide security for "some very prominent black voices ..."

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best wants her officers to return to their precinct within the zone, though Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan has supported a more hands-off approach while saying that protesters are exercising their First Amendment rights." https://www.newsmax.com/politics/seattle-chaz/2020/06/14/id/972135/

Who are they, who are they protecting exactly, and who is paying them?

Oh dear, and now we have a cat fight at the top.

American college teachers are very impressing. In France, if you want to get indoctrinated by a college left winged teacher, it's mostly the state that pay (you still have to pay a small fee), in USA, they manage to convince children to get highly in debt to be indoctrinated, all of that to hear a high middle class teacher explaining how she or he is oppressed.
Clearly, they're at a higher level.

No way anyone is ever going to believe this is Trump's fault. They are desperately drowning in their own ****. What I hear you describing is a Montessori mama letting her li'l brat children run wild and act out ... ... because it allows them to develop to their full potential. LOL.

    Absurd.

You can kiss the economy goodbye if anarchy takes hold.

Didnt this become apparent when one of the “militants”, a transgender, was complaining about homeless people stealing their food with subsequent request for good donations with vegan options?
We are watching a gathering of immature autistic adults playing their own Petoria. Nothing less, nothing more.

    Yes and no.

I'm all about the economy, that's no secret here. So yes, the economy is more important than CHAZ. But..... I'd argue there's room in the news to cover both. Especially if CNN takes a break from crying about how many scoops of ice cream Trump eats, or what Melania is wearing, or who's tweet hurt who's feelings.

And, you could also argue the two things (economy and CHAZ) are somewhat connected with the current market volatility ---- insanity like CHAZ might make investors skittish and could cause another market drop. Just like how I've been following the thing with truckers not wanting to deliver to cop-free areas. All of these things tie together eventually.

Otherwise, yeah, I'd say let the idiots burn down Seattle for all I care, because Seattle is probably beyond reprieve anyhow.

    Heh.

I told y'all that the "progressive" clowns LARPing in Seattle's Autonomous Soy Boy Zone were walking in the footsteps of the French Jacobins, Russian Bolsheviks and German National Socialists...

They sure did. In fact, their leader, Maximilien Robespierre and 90 others got a close shave from the National Razor during the Thermidorian Reaction.

    Send in the Muscadins!

There's a point beyond which even a sympathizer to this crap is going to reality check his conscience, then do whatever is necessary to save his home, his belongings and his life.

If you look close there is an AR-15 in the baby carriage, the kid has a 32 in his waist band and there is a bomb in the backpack.

And then watch as his loved ones are then killed in reprisal before he himself pays the ultimate prize for his stupidity.

Most, if not all, of the bolsheviks of the Russian revolution were likewise murdered when their usefulness to the communist elite grew thin and they were no longer needed. Same thing happened in China, which has ever since knocked off even their elites for one reason or another. It has to be the most paranoid existence on this planet, except for N Korea.

Again with the personal attack... Some never learn, i'd say that they just don't have the potential to, but that would also be against the rule.

The Bolsheviks, like the French "Revolutionaries" liquidated themselves. Some might consider that their saving grace considering the scope of the overall failure of their schemes.

"Many who lost faith in the Stalinist utopia felt themselves plunged into a
random world, at the mercy of chance. Both the dream world of Stalinism and
its hideous reality were equally alien to the notions of individual
responsibility and moral choice. ... a fatalistic skepticism, expressed in the popular expression
"This too will pass [proidet]," uttered with a shrug of the shoulders, was one of the few forms of
everyday resistance a Soviet citizen could permit himself in face of the latest policy pronouncement
from above.[13] Thus New Soviet Man metamorphized all too easily into Homo Sovieticus, a
widespread social type immortalized in Alexander Zinoviev's novel of that name: passive in the face
of authority, infinitely pliable in his behavior and values, with no horizons beyond the needs of the
moment, but superbly equipped with basic survival skills."
