    Yeah, good reason ... Biden doesn't want his supporters to risk illness and possible death just to see him in person. His ego doesn't require that sort of very visible admiration. He isn't that insecure.

    I voted for Jon Huntsman in the 2012 primary, but after the way in which the GOP shred any last vestiges of personal honor to support Trump, no Republican will ever get my vote again, for any office.

    It couldn't be that people just weren't that excited about Trump, or that they were not keen on the idea of crowding into a stadium in the midst of a pandemic that is particularly bad in Tulsa Oklahoma at the moment, could it? It must have been that thousands of people simply had to go to work on Saturday.

    It's a long way to November, but last night was not good for Trump. Biden is a God-awful candidate that has admitted that he only would be keeping the seat warm for some yet un-named but super-qualified woman of color.

    The election is not Biden's to win, but rather Trump's to lose. He needs to quit shooting himself in the foot and actually govern in these last months before the election.

    A society where civility breaks down is hostile to all citizens.

    The Democrat Party needs sections of their voters to feel as if they are "less than" others. Feeling "less than" can also cause feelings of hostility, which creates the renewed opportunity for Democrat leaders to become society's self-appoiinted "moral authority", which in turn, helps them maintain their privilege of white liberal superiority not only over anyone in the Republican Party, but over the very people for whom they claim to support with paternalism. They cleverly manage to maintain the oppression with kind words, spoken on bended knee. It's a vicious cycle. Fifty years strong.

    President Trump's campaign played a Tom Petty song during the June 20 Oklahoma rally but the family of the late singer said it wasn't "authorized."

    (CNN)The family of the late Tom Petty has filed a cease and desist notice to the Trump campaign after one of the musician's songs was played at the President's campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    Petty's 1989 hit "I Won't Back Down" was played on Saturday evening at the rally, which drew a smaller-than-expected crowd of supporters.

    My marching days were over long ago, but if I did attend a protest outside a Trump rally, my sign would simply say "Tillerson was right."

    Pssst . . . the Dem Party is holding massive protests and riots in the midst of this pandemic. It's been in the news and everything. Haven't heard a single political leftist HOWL about masks or social distancing in regards to those either.

    That doesn't explain it as Trump has a track record of filling arenas.

    More likely it was the street protests and mob violence coupled with the Coronavirus.

    To the extent it was the virus, Trump was incredibly stupid to mock it by saying he had ordered a cut back on testing.

    You just know that the # of dead from the virus will be brought up in the debates. It's past time to quit wishing it away.
