No, I'm a fan of ending it peacefully. It was always a silly idea, just not one that needs to be ended suddenly & violently to please a bunch of right wing armchair warriors. Stupid people believing that just by thinking happy thoughts & chanting a few slogans the world (and people) will magically change. Communes & other such things either fall over quickly or change so much they are no longer recognisable. Reality only ever gets suspended for a short time. Most people like a degree of structure, predictability or familiarity, they just tend to disagree on the degree. They might be prepared to suspend that for a while for whatever reason, but only for a while.

 

As far as I know, in recent history, no armed anarchist have taken over 6 blocks and declared it was no longer the USA. They should be given one chance to surrender and if they dont, you deal with the insurrection. What would you do, have a huddle up with therapist and counselors?

The "viability" of the "autonomous zone" died the moment they begged people from outside to bring more food.

 

It appears, Seattle mayor was gambling on Trump losing his cool and sending troops to Seattle to restore law and order. Then, CNN be there with cameras blazing and the world shocked at American troops shooting blacks with rubber bullets.

Luckily for all of us, Trump understood what Seattle mayor was hoping for and now, poor Seattle schlimazel gonna have to sort her own mess. Even her own police chief now forced to apologize to her policemen.
