Trump, feeling the heat, decides to alleviate some of the pain and suffering he helped cause. This is how you get what you want from the political space.

The reason we don't have Medicare for All, free college, a living wage, a Green New Deal, and so on is precisely because for 40 years people have been voting blue no matter who. The Democrats know they can do whatever they want, take corporate money and move further to the right and the left would still vote for them.

"You must show them that you're capable of not voting for them." - Lawrence O'Donnell

Joe Biden still probably wouldn't comply. He often took pride in defying the will of his constituents.

She doesn't care. No protest from the squad. All they do is blame the GOP for everything.

Its easy to be "generous" with other people's money. The list of promises are nothing more than voter bait. Dems enjoy a super majority in California and results show that dems don't give a damn about your health, your living wage, the environment, or your education. Its all about power.

What was a real eye-opener for me was that the first stimulus checks cleared a Republican Senate like 90-0, or something. Who says Republicans don't care about people? And we don't need the Democrats only to take care of the people.

As for the video in the OP's link, I noticed that Trump said the "stimulus bill" and not a second check. I don't expect it will ever becoming. Especially now that the economy is reopening and the crisis has passed us by.

I'm so glad we dont have medicare for all, free college, a minimum wage that's "liveable," and a green new deal. Now if we can stop getting trump and the other losers to stop giving away our money I'd be much happier.

"We will be doing another stimulus package." -- Trump.
No, Trump said stimulus package, not second check. It was a diversion. Changing one thing into another thing and hope you didn't notice.

This thread needs pinned to the top of the ENTIRE forum.

    We have TWO sociopathic parties.

It used to be that they played good cop/bad cop, but now?

It's sadistic serial killer cop/sadistic serial rapist cop.

Keep voting for either, and you're going to continue being raped/killed.

Truth be told Medicare for all is code for Medicaid for all, in other words everyone gets stuck with the same useless and expensive healthcare.

Trump: Next Stimulus Bill Will Be ‘Very Generous’

Sorry to hear it. We could have saved trillions by simply not forcing businesses to close. We continue to fight crises by creating new crises. Beyond belief.

Even if Medicare or Medicaid actually reduced the total cost of the country's health care, as for individuals, it would be free for some, and vastly more expensive for others. It would be nothing less than "from each according to ability, to each according to need." Why should some citizens be forced to pay for their own health care and also pay for a bunch of other people too, while the other people pay zero? There is nothing fair about that.

Now, if a system could be created where everyone pays in the same exact amount, then I suppose that could be deemed fair. But even then, removing choices is the antithesis of freedom and liberty.

And reduce the quality of healthcare for all while raising the cost for many to pay for a few others.

You really have no clue about the entire system other that what media has programmed you to think.

Yes corporate media, which is funded by the health industry, programmed me to support Medicare for All:

The notion that capitalist media promotes left wing policies defies rational thought.

I would say the principals of the study are lacking in life experience and common sense. Government has never saved anything. Everything the government does costs more than it would cost in the private sector. Computer models and reality are different things. I wouldn't believe a word of it.
