My husband and I have been playing the "what's next," game.

We think angel & devil food cakes are going away, or switching, or something. I love black forest cake, can we keep that? We also think chess pieces are going to have to go blue/red or something.

Our car is white. We live in Florida, so dark cars are bad. Can we keep our car or is that racist?

 

rational people? where do you find them? we shut down an entire economy for a particularly bad bug and started calling the pizza delivery guy a "hero". we have one political group that gleefully described a full half of the nation as "deplorables" (for those of you unfamiliar with the english language, this means people you should "hate") and then went on a years long program of constantly describing these "deplorables" as racists, nazis or just plain morons. this group then had the audacity to describe the targets of their spleen venting as "divisive". we have another group, born out of the demise of several exceptionally violent young black men who paid the ultimate price for their violent tendencies, that seems to believe the proper response is even more violence and we are actually taking these people seriously. i could go on, but why bother? rational people are so few and far between as to be an endangered species.

i'm on the verge of believing that the wuhan flu is precisely the cull that is needed and that the riots in our urban areas should be allowed to go on unabated. let the cities burn and with them those who have created such blighted areas. let the bodies pile up and force the survivors to deal with the aftermath they have helped to create. i look at a political map of this country and see these islands of blue as zones of disease, death and destruction and i wonder whether it might not be the wisest course to simply let them destroy themselves. i'm almost there, but not quite.

 

a whit is, by definition, the smallest particle imaginable. this must be a rant against small things. i suppose this was written by someone who believes only big things should be allowed to survive. i'm a bit on the small side, so i guess i'm screwed.

LA once wanted to ban black cars because they get hotter than white cars which causes the AC to work harder which causes more gas to be burned which causes global warming which causes Greta to scowl at you. you shouldn't take for granted that every bit of scrawl you see was composed by an illiterate moron. this might very well have been the work of an exceptionally gifted "big supremacist" who just happens to have poor penmanship.

This menace is not Conservative or Liberal, it’s corporate and is sweeping both Republican and Conservative Boards. I mean, what is CEO’s and the Board’s first responsibility? Right, a fiduciary responsibility to the shareholders to protect the value of their corporations, and do it to the best of their ability they will, for they must. So, what does it tells you if everyone, large and small corporations, municipalities, utilities all jumping out of their skins pandering to African Americans?

It tells me we’re becoming bananarepublic (pun intended) faster than anyone has thought possible.

 

This commercial hits 99.99% of all the races living in America, so is on target!

The folks looting, burning, screaming, demanding and accusing are not rational. Reason is always conspicuous by its absence. Without reason, intellectual and financial capital is not accumulated. These folks rioting, looting and burning, what do you think they have or have accomplished in their lives? The operating system in their minds is tribalism, superstition, magical thinking, and irrationality. This makes them impervious to absorbing our mutual respect for civil rights.

Without the rationality, civilization is impossible. Irrational societies vacillate between dogma, hedonism, and savagery, never entering rationality.

A society of irrational people disintegrates into tribal units, who live lives of never-ending wars and conflict.

The choice this Nov could not be clearer, choose wisely.

Somehow among all this craziness, no one wants to dump ole Joe Bite_me for characterizing our first African American President as an articulate, clean-shaven, mainstream, picture-perfect. Why not? This is as racist as I’ve ever heard other than the N word.
