the answer to your post, as reasonable as it may be, will be that this is all trump's fault. he was supposed to be more caring and to kowtow to the demands of every victim group out there. never mind the welfare of the nation. never mind the rising tide that lifts all boats. it's all about appearances and appearing to care about minorities is more important than actually doing something to improve their lives.

 

Trump could cure cancer and they'd scream that the increased lifespans would bankrupt social security.

I think they were trying to provoke Trump into a Kent State type over-reaction, which would be followed by all the Leftwing Generals rushing to microphones to decry this horrific and terrible misuse of the military against US citizens, followed by waving the bloody shirt and endlessly showing the dead bodies until Nov.

For this, they were willing to destroy their own cities. Trump didn't bite and their cities still smolder.

They have no vocal opposition because everyone fears the cancel culture, knows that they absolutely can get you fired, even your family members fired, thrown out of school, thrown off teams, thrown out of social gatherings and even surround your home, pound on your door and light your car on fire, but, don't you think that the silent opposition is there, and will be registered at the ballot box?

The polls were never right in 2016 because of all the hidden Trump support, and it was less costly to support him then, than now.

if you've read any of my posts at all you'd know that the answer to the question of whether i think their strategy is working is an unequivocal "yes". for most of the last four years there has been a full court press to discredit him and the drones are eating it up. you have to remember that these are fools who actually believe their public school education and spoon-fed higher education indoctrination has prepared them for anything more than simply doing as they're told. last time trump merely had to deal with the democrats' dirty tricks squad, the republicans needed a win and they had enough independent bureaucrats on their side to keep the carnage under control. this time the bureaucracy knows he is serious and that their petty fiefdoms may be in jeopardy. another four years and a seriously depleted federal war chest and all of those little pork projects that have been making the bureaucrats rich are in danger of being exposed or even eradicated. this time around he won't be able to depend on covering fire from the republicans because they would rather lose the presidency than endanger the graft and corruption that keeps the bureaucracy in wealth and power. last time they thought they could control him and make him "their boy", like the democrats did with obama. this time they know he is uncontrollable.

as for the voters... well, they will just do as they're told. they will believe he is a racist because that is what they are told, despite there being no real evidence. they will believe he has told the american people 10,000 lies, despite the fact that even a cursory examination shows that well over ninety-nine percent of those "lies" are merely the exaggerations and political puffery we've come to expect from our leaders, because they have been told he is a liar. they will believe he is a sexual predator, a manchurian candidate, a failed businessman and just about anything else his enemies can come up with because this is all they are told, twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. the media has long since failed at even attempting to appear to be separate from the other three parts of government and are avidly fanning the flames of innuendo, guilt by association and outright falsehood. the average american voter is none too bright, but even the smartest of them is at a distinct disadvantage. they have no choice but to believe that where there is smoke there is fire, despite those rather obvious political operatives running around and striking matches at every opportunity.

 

I think that's over the top.

But not something to get angry about. Something to have a chuckle at. I always have a chuckle when I see ads like that. I don't feel threatened by them the way some people seem to.

It doesn't even rate as a problem, IMO. Companies do what's profitable. Period. The overwhelming majority in this country do not have an issue with black/white marriage. We personally know two such couples.

I am baffled as to why white has to be removed from everything. It's nauseating, frankly. It is in no way related to a company showing inclusiveness in their advertising. I don't need my entire world to appear lily white. That's so boring.

Yes, White guilt. White people will buy product no matter who advertises it, White or Black actors. Black people and White people scream bloody racism if too many White actors advertise product. How do you figure?
