Because the US has a sparking culture of racism. The current president himself -if he wasn't such a draft dodger- would have personally enjoyed apartheid rule in the US army. It simply was arranged on a federal level that apartheid in the army was the norm. And the US president was raised up in a culture that it was normal. You really do not lose your culture passed down by generations of what is right, when a law is signed.

Ah black people have a tendency to be more confrontational with the judge... because of some black gene? Is that what you are saying? Or is it that they have a cultural heritage to be like that? I don't recall this one bit, like them white folks got their supremacist culture going on against black people. I seriously doubt you can prove that black people even are like that.

And the cops aint doing their job right when they systematically arrest black people about 3 times more often than white people when they do about an equal amount of crime. Obviously.

 

Tried it here in my city, and it was a mess.

They tried to pretend like it was going great, but it was just a logistical nightmare that put untrained civilians at dangerous crime scenes.

But it did result in all that yummy yummy grant money.

I've sat in enough court rooms to form my own opinion. It may be that blacks are doing about the same amount of crime but are only 13% of the population so it appears they are being discriminated against. (Not to say some aren't)

Back in the 1980's I helped fund the Humane Genome mapping of genes and DNA. We all are related so it can't be genes. So it is a good possibility that the environment around a person contributes very much to their outlook on life and their interaction with others. I do believe we all are tribal and prefer to associate with those who look and have the same values. We really are not a homogenize mixture as social engineers would like to make us.

 

Agreed, however sadly we gave that ass 8 years and he did nothing but destroy race relations, but thankfully Obama could not run for a third term so we elected a guy that has America's best interest at heart. I do understand other countries laughing at us for electing Obama and we are truly sorry for that. All of us are, even those that voted for him. Sigh.......(how's that for a clear sentence?)

 

The right-wing mantra that the black break down of the family is the cause of poverty and they need to get their sh*t together is simplistic willful ignorance. The "whites people" feel attacked and defensive if it is suggested there has been a history of socially sanctioned racial prejudice that has caused a certain segment of the population to have an unusually high poverty rate. Then there is the "conspiracy". The black community is lied to by them liberals and "thought leaders" and are just too dumb to know it. What if they are smart enough to know it is not lies because they have lived it and you with a very minority opinion is wrong because of your prejudiced world view?

I work in a ghetto hospital in Indy, and I saw it with my own eyes.

The paramedics hated it. The cops hated it, and the "crisis counselors" hated it the most of all of them. The dispatching was a mess, and it slowed everything down trying to coordinate it all, and make it work, which it rarely ever did.

Of course the report on it was glowing, cuz that's how you get more of that yummy yummy grant money.

 

Stop focusing on "the blacks". I'll betcha' 95% of those "blacks" aren't even black. If the U.S. adopts one drop of white blood rule the discussion board will fall silent.

All involved wanted cleared instructions on how bringing a social worker to an active crime scene was supposed to work, and their leadership refused to give them anything more than "let's keep it flexible", and the cops knew they'd get thrown right under the bus for "not following the rules" if anything went wrong.

And that is why it was a mess.

They threw everybody into tense and dangerous active crime scene situation with the mission statement of "be creative" and the unspoken "and if you mess it up, you're toast"

That's why the IMPD pulled out as quick as they could.

 

Take your pick. Either be punished because the black population can’t keep their violent gun crime under control or be punished because the white population can’t keep their violent gun crime under control. Which do you prefer?
