It had been...until the recent spike in cases. Deaths FOLLOW infections...so we'll see

And the "protests" were a great gathering of such warm bodies. If not for what happened to George Floyd, we had a plan. I'm not saying the administration or even the governors(hell no, they're less than useless), I'm saying we citizens had a plan.

That plan went out the window when radical anarchists decided to attack America and when those who are supposed to protect US citizens decided to abstain from their jobs. And so now, the uptick is the result even as they try to blame something else.

    Dereliction of Duty?

The left is having their worst fears come to life because of their own actions.

I'm not being partisan. Just pointing out how stupid the left is.

Liberals said it does! They said that Trump rallies and reopening the economy protests were super spreaders of the disease while BLM riots and LGBTQ parades were more important than the disease. It is the left that has played politics with the disease since they tried to transfer blame for it from their Chinese handlers to our great President

The vast majority of the new cases have been showing no or few symptoms. Improved testing also shows that earlier there were a lot more people who had it and never knew it than we once thought

None of that means that the virus can't spread out of control...and when that happens people die. It may or may not be as horrific as it was in NY but that doesn't change the fact that it will happen as cases increase

And do is your buddy above.

Bottom line is wear masks and social distance. Stay out of crowded spaces. Stay out of tightly packed lines

Don't be stupid and less people have their health ruined and their lives taken

But getting together to "protest" the death of a person you never met in a state you couldn't find on a map makes perfect sense.

Up to 25x more people the CDC is saying. If they are right about mask then I assume they must be right about this. Which makes the death rate tiny. So many on the left use a number of dead to try and price how deadly this virus is, they seem to have no concept of percentages.

They remind me of flat earth believers saying you can not see the curve of the planet from a airliner therefore that proves the earth is flat. No concept of the size of the globe at all.

The irony of using the belief in a flat earth as your justification for dismissing the threat of this virus is incredibly ironic.

    As of right now.

    State - Death Rate/Million
    NJ - 1,713
    NY - 1,654
    CT - 1,213

    FL - 172
    CA - 158
    TX - 89

Facts are stubborn things. The top 3 states, that you express no alarm for are 6 TIMES deadlier than the bottom three that you are so "concerned" about.

    OUT ON A LIMB:

“L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti said Wednesday that public protests are likely causing the number of citywide coronavirus cases to spike, just two days after claiming there wasn’t ‘any conclusive evidence’ showing a connection between the two.”

AFTER MASSIVE BLACK LIVES MATTER PROTESTS ACROSS AMERICA, U.S. logs 26th straight day of record average case totals.

The seven-day average of novel coronavirus cases in the United States set a record for the 26th straight day on Saturday as officials and health experts watched nervously to see whether July 4 gatherings would increase the spread. The new high came even as the holiday kept some state health departments from reporting their latest batches of infections.

The virus continued to spiral out of control in much of the country, particularly in the South, as several states experienced record numbers of confirmed infections and hospitalizations. Florida logged another daily high number of new cases, while hospitalizations in Arizona set a record, and ICU capacity at the world’s largest medical center, in Houston, was exceeded at one point.

    CTRL-F NOT FOUND: “Protest.”
