Nope. Simply no. One statue near me is trying to get teared down for Columbus. The fact that he was one of the first Spanish conquistadors is lost when we talk about Columbus Day. I almost never see him cast in that light. Now tell someone to venerate him even though he colonized their family. Don’t see too many statues of king George 3 around in the US now do you?

I think the main point is that politics and sports should remain separated. Fans lose loyalty, coaches have to worry about how their political views affect their jobs (players too)... it's just not good for sports. I would hate to see sports suffer from social political issues.

Allow me to clear things up for you. The basic reason as to why SJW is a pejorative insult all stems from the falsehood of what SJWs claim to be. Things like equality, tolerance, inclusivity, anti-hate, etc are all buzzwords they use to cloak themselves with a protective shield of false narratives so they can operate contrary to the point. SJWs don't want things to be equal they want special attentions and conditions for whatever protected classification of human they invent. SJWs don't want tolerance they want submission and obedience to their way of thinking. SJWs don't want inclusivity they want to purge anyone and anything that disagrees with them. SJWs aren't against hate they regularly spew insult, spread falsehoods, promote animosity, and incite violence towards whites, Christians, southerners, gun owners, Republicans, business owners, the wealthy, police, and so on.

SJWs are just hate game con-artists and that's why the phrase is an insult - because its a damned insulting thing to take up the mantle of a "social justice warrior".

Tim Tebow's very career offended them, and frankly I thought that was going too far. His faith should not have precluded his ability in the NFL. And if people mention the unconventional system, Denver did enjoy some success with it. To me, it was an excuse to not have to deal with the "controversy"(I mean, there was some merit to it. If Tebow were a better pocket passer, he'd be much more of a dual QB threat) but still, he was successful at what he did.

While I am not a huge Trump fan, I wanted Cruz, Paul, Carson, Fiorina, and Rubio ahead of him in that order. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with a MAGA hat. What Leftists and the MSM have done to demonize a completely acceptable position and candidate is Orwellian. They have actually attempted and successfully so in the weak minded, redefined what "Make America Great Again" means by inferring their own twisted definition and then attacking that definition. The 2016 primaries were talented AF(on the Republican side.) There were so many good candidates for President(sure, might not have been Nationalists, but I was confident they'd be better than the Obama-Biden regime.). I was Paul, Rubio, Fiorina, Cruz and then Carson.

(My whole thing is statesmanship, and someone who can command authority.) And as an agnostic person, I'm not too big on religious dogma which I thought Cruz/Carson had in spades. But Cruz has won me over listening to his podcasts, and seeing him in action where I do think Cruz can maintain our secular union, and won't let his own views ultimately be the detriment of the country.

If Cruz ran for President again in 2024, he'd probably have my vote.
