I just read the article. From what I see it does not appear that the entire tweet was in the OP. It accuses the Democrtic Party and Democrats of racism. Same old song th at Trumpien sing just off key again. Apparently the tweet by the DNC was that Trumpian are disrespecting the rights of the Native Americans. We can argue that if we want.

The jist of the complaint against the Trumpiens using Mt. Rushmore I that DJT and his merry band is using Mt. Rushmore tonenhance his political rally.

I did i not see anything about any disrespect for Independence Day.

For ny politician especially a POTUS to use a national monument for his own re-election is criminal. That opinion does not in any way forgive rioters of any stripe to deface or in any way to disrespect any national monument.

In other words if a POTUS behaves in an unpatriotic manner that does not gives others to follow in his Schiesty footsteps.

It was "the Democrats" tweet which referred to an Independence Day fireworks display as "holding a rally glorifying white supremacy." That terrible choice of inflammatory and misleading wording is the problem. Tying it to "Native communities" is just typical Democrat virtue signaling. (Which is a problem in its own right.) So yes, that tweet was in poor taste AND inflammatory AND misleading, even if it was par for the course for Democrats.

 

Why did democrats pull this tweet down?
