America Will Own Slaves Again

Drawing a welfare check is not slavery , as the folks getting the checks are not working.

Slavery in the form of indentured servitude is where you work your butt off - but get little in return. This is life way too many Americans.

 

The fast answer is, it's behind the scenes in places like Austin, in the fine Republic of Texas, where most of the nation's schoolbooks get approved (via PDF, presumably) in manuscript long before publication. I do not blame Texas for Austin.

But what gets left out or softened is specialized writing so precise that careers get ended over even a single phrase or word. Any reasonable comparison between editions offered to each region is a related factor, again with intense shaping of content. Schools can't afford new texts every year and political winds change in two or three years and they all play reverse-engineering to get the next textbook edition's narrative in line again.

And because I do not want Walker Texas Ranger on my chest, again: I do not blame Texas for Austin!

 

I've been through the 1950s when real traitors fried in electric chairs and leftist snivelers shed traitors' tears over Soviet spies. Since then, begin erasure and it will surely some day fade into obscurity and then only in books eventually sold by libraries needing more shelf space for magazines. (A terrific way to build a low-cost historical library. Not so great for potential future readers.)

We already do. I volunteered some time on our southern border, (between jacumba and campo in San Diego county) just to attempt to disrupt the supply of drugs and flesh peddling. I didn’t gave a damn about the Mexican men that wanted to do some concrete work or landscaping. Go make some money for your family. If I was born in Mexico I would illegally cross the border myself. But, I’ve seen teenage girls that were broken, abused by their coyotes, and destined for the sex trade. It’s f’n horrible. They look at you with frightened eyes that just beg for help. It’s disgusting what Mexicans do to their own people and other Central Americans for a buck. Flesh peddling is very real and it’s F’n heartbreaking. I have two daughters and three grand daughters and the thought boils my blood.

You don’t have to take my word for it, go camp out on our southern border and see for yourself. Don’t go there without a rifle and a good dog though, and cover your license plates.

 

Beyond your understanding or willingness to pursue are not bellya whatever you may believe to the contrary.

That has nothing to do with what was being discussed - you went down some slavery rabbit hole into semantic gibberish.

A welfare recipient is not the legal property of some slaver owner. Calling everyone slaves because they are forced to Obey Gov't is absurd given the context the term "Slavery" was being used - but in this respect Blue and Red are the same in any case.

 

Actually I doubt the people tearing down statues ever studied history. More likely were educated watching CNN/MSNBC on these things.

that’s just the earliest example. We have constantly advanced and regressed in terms of rights and tolerance between races, religions and ethnicities. And we always collapse again, whether it is convert or die like the Muslims, the Spanish Inquisition of Catholics, the slaughter of Armenians by Turks, the genocide of the Jews by the Nazis, slavery on every continent throughout history... these things have come and gone.

I wonder about this. If you look at the proposals for "free stuff" Amerika, the left surely want to reintroduce the plantation system in this country. They actively support human traffic pipelines vis a vis illegal immigration regardless of country of origin. For sure, ti seems those in the NDP elite certainly want this as a potential for the future. Watch the protests, listen to the rhetoric. This is very much the case.

 

So, by this logic, we should have left all the Adolph Hitler and Saddam Hussian statues up all over the place cause... history.... ya....
