    That is a bad thing? What should he be hoping.... that the pandemic spreads and kills millions of Americans? Jesus I hope ALL our political leaders desire the eradication of it. Apparently you disagree. I wonder if your disagreement is based on the assumption that the pandemic can be used by Democratic leaders to shut down their local economies (and block Trump rallies) until the election thus ensuring a Trump defeat.

    There is a reasonable probability that Trump will quit to avoid facing a humiliating landslide defeat.

    The GOP is totally unprepared and will scramble to choose a candidate if it is not too late.

    There will be electoral slaughter among GOP lawmakers who have done nothing to earn their salaries.

    Joe Blow ain't been right about anything since he went to work for MSNBC. Then again we wouldn't want to break their string.

    Oh and for what it's worth, huff'n'puff is to good reporting what road killed skunk is to the dinner table.

    Oh and do try to get your stories straight, is Trump going to quit before the election or have to be dragged kicking and screaming from the oval office?

    We're I you I be vastly more concerned about whether ole Joe is going to make it to election day and just how that increasingly obvious bait and switch is going to work with the voters.

    Based upon how well he's communicating with the press on 'gimme' questions, he might well be gearing up to quit. After last week's inability to share his priorities for a second term and the backlash from it, Trump was given a second chance at that question. Here's his answer:
    "Well, I didn't hear anybody who was upset with it, but I will tell you, it's very simple: we're going to make America great again. We are doing things that nobody could have done."

    Who knew running for President was so hard? Who knew that having a plan for a second term could be so hard? Is Stephen Miller even working these days?

    Of course everyone hopes it will go away. But hoping and wishing doesn't make something so. I guess some of us expect more action and less hoping from our leaders.

    Whether you like Trump or not, he is a narcissist. His ego will not let him quit. Trump would not want to lose an election to a man with dementia. So, he will try to take Biden out in a debate. If a debate doesn't take place, Trump supporters may have to run ads showing Biden losing his damn mind on camera. Every election cycle, it's all about voting for the lesser of two evils. It's not a slam dunk for Angry Joe just yet.

    That would be the greatest joke in history, if Pence refused to pardon him. But I don't think he has a choice. Or rather, it's either that, or self-pardon. And then hoping that John Roberts is as far up Trump's ass as the other four partisan justices are.

    Yep. Amazes me that people can get paid if they are willing to go on TV daily and shoot off their mouth about their opinions and predictions yet they are mostly proven wrong and never embarrassed. Doesn't say much about the people who pay these morons.

    With his latest move on threatening to veto a military funding bill because of the attached rider that would allow for renaming bases, he's shown that he either doesn't understand politics at all or he really doesn't have the ability to think beyond his nose. This is going to go very, very badly for him - either way - and it was something he didn't need to do!
