Queens court Judge Peter Kelly dismissed the case filed by Mary Trumps brother to halt the publication of the anti Dirty Donald book she has written. He said the case should have been filed in Manhattan court, as the Trump family estate filing ended in Queens in 2001 and no longer exists.
So, the public gets a double whammy this summer between Mary T's book and Bolton's exposing the Orange Messiah as a tax cheat and a megalomaniac willing to sell out the country to suit his personal interests. Personally, I don't plan on buying Bolton's book because I don't want to financially support a scumbag who chose money over his obligation to the country to tell what he knew about Trump's antics to Congress.
Do you, or anyone, know how long before recently published books get into the library? I want to know what is in Bolton's book, but I too do not want him to profit on it.

Almost immediately, if its popular, use your library's online system if they have it. I'm 90% tablet now but still shuffle into the library now and then when digital costs are too high and browse the new release section for something that catches my eye. I wont read either book, dont think I've read a "tell all" book, ever. And I've read hundreds of books.

The Dutchess county judge has placed a temporary hold on Simon &Schuster's publication of Mary Trumps book. they are appealing the judges decision.
The New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division has lifted the restraint order against book publisher Simon &Schuster, leaving only the restraint order against Mary Trump holding up distribution and sales of the book.

Libraries are given the opportunity by publishers to pre-order a book several months before publication to be sent on publication. After that it is up to the library.
From what I am reading now, it appears that with the restraint lifted on the book publisher, the publication of the book can proceed on schedule.
