But rachel Maddow said the jobs report was going to be "absolutely terrible".

I have repeatedly said, on this thread, that if you want trump re-elected, then you need to encourage him to crush this virus.

I sure as **** do not want him re-elected, but I ALSO really ****ing want to crush this virus.

So stop pretending that my statements on this virus have anything to do with my politics.

That is a LIE. Things have NOT been good since before 2000. If you consider low wages, huge wealth transfer, and the better part of America surviving on Credit. Then yes, awesome. This jobs report is a joke, and a last gasp by Trump to hold onto anything that sounds partially positive.

These are just jobs back, not new. It is a horrible economy, yet our fake lying leaders calls it great. Anyone that has taken econo 101 knows how bad it is... And so some jobs, lets avoid all the horrible things going on and TWEET GREAT JOBS REPORT. Trump is a Horrible Person.

Ha, they have not had bad news in 3 years. I hate them almost as much as the crooked Republicans. Even tho they are weak, spineless turds, at least they are not lying weak spineless turds.

Over 10K and the governor here could care less. He does what Trump tells him too, as does the Senator. Both Cronies because they know after they all lose they can retire to Palm Beach county right down the street from me and live like KINGS on the money they stole.

I'd say a prayer but I think prayer is frowned upon these days, god being white and all.

Even if the death rate is zero when a person has this they are forced to quarantine correct ?

With it being an outbreak in some states like Arizona how is the Arizona economy supposed to function correctly when a chuck of employers work staff cant come in for at least 14 days a pop??

Those people too, how are they supposed to make money when there in at minimum mandatory home quarantine maximum hospital for at least 14 days?

If I'm 22 and not at risk of dying and catch this I'm forced to quarantine ie not able to produce labor for atleast 14 days or receive income. On a larger scale employers lose productivity as absenteeism increases

Well, the coronavirus delivered a response to that idea, with cases reaching 50,000 per day and will probably surpass 100,000 per day if we don't do the 4th of July right. The economy is doing so well because people aren't social distancing like they should. If we had a real lockdown in March and got the covid cases to minimal levels, then social distancing wouldn't be that important. So far, mostly young people are getting infected, but they are eventually going to start infecting the old and sick people too, and we are going to see deaths climb to over 300,000. States will probably have to lock down again completely for the next couple months. If that happens, unemployment will probably reach 20%.

I live in Burlington Vermont, one mile from the two nursing homes that housed 45% of those who died after exposure to Covid-19. They were most all in their 80's, in nursing homes. Nursing facilities where the average stay is five months, till death.

The other half, all older Vermonter's living in other senior congregate settings or at home with loved ones, all in their 80s except two.

An older article but the numbers haven't changed much.

"Out of their sample, 13, or 45%, of the people who had died from the virus were residents in long-term care facilities like nursing homes. They ranged in age from 70 to 95, with a median of 80. Eleven of the 13 long-term care residents died in the facility where they were living.

The average age of the other 16 people who died of the virus was also 80, and two were under the age of 65. Only two had traveled recently outside of Vermont, and only five had contact with a known Covid-19 case. “Almost all” were hospitalized and put on ventilators, Levine said.

All of the people who died of the virus both in and outside of long-term care had prior conditions, such as lung disease, kidney disease, or a condition that suppressed their immune system."

Do the math. 11 years my ass. Stop ****ing with numbers to push an agenda.

Neat part about living in a small state, the truth flows out easier.

You have no idea what you're talking about. We're not doing statistical sampling. We're talking about variation in samples.

All you had to do was explain to James California the difference between aggregate positives and percentage positives, or maybe you try that. I don't know. Instead you made dumb post and just dug a deeper hole.

I don't know, but your reasoning for asking was you assumed they wouldn't be working. Since that was wrong there's no use speculating. I also don't care because regardless, the economy would and should continue on. Even if it is at a slightly reduced version of what it's capable of.
