Theoretically though, even though they disappear quickly(which is the disappointing news), the immune system should be aware of this virus and able to form the antibodies quicker the second go-around. That might attribute to the slower death rate thus far.

While antibodies play an important role in immunity, they're far from the only things involved. T cells, for instance, may provide longer lasting immunity than antibodies and B cells, but they're harder to measure. Just because someone shows reduced antibody levels for Covid-19 that doesn't necessarily mean they aren't immune.

If herd immunity was achieved percentage of positive tests would increase

If there are no antibodies, then there isn't any immunity!

Well crap. I was totally planning to go to hoplophobic socialist 3rd-world-dumping-ground EU... *sarcastic sad face*

For realz tho, I'm glad they still understand at least the concept of nationalism and protectionism, even if its totally misplaced. Theres a glimmer of hope they may make it out of globalism alive. Just a glimmer tho...

It couldn't have possibly been in the riots or the protests because riding in protesting makes you immune to the coronavirus.

Yeah the EU also doesn't believe in the Constitution if you want to live there why don't you?

We limit our government's power here and we like it that way.

That's only if they're getting tested. How can you get tested for things are immune to?

That’s one of the most nonsensical posts I’ve seen. EU countries have their own Constitutions.
Anyway it’s beside the point. I was responding to someone who said masks, social distancing and lockdowns don’t work. Europe proves they do.
The effectiveness has nothing to do with the constitution.

    so go live there.

you will have to do better than pointing out a graphic and grunt primitively that correlation equals causation.

So if you will eliminate all other factors please.

The travel ban for non EU citizens has started in mid march, now the EU has opened their borders again for some countries but not hot spot countries like the US.

The EU doesn't have any control over healthcare politics in their member states, each country has decided how to act against the Corona virus for themselves and to close the internal EU borders or not. Corresponding the "lockdowns" have been very different from country to country, France had a hard lockdown while Germany had a rather smooth lockdown.

Masks, hygiene, keeping distance and reducing travel is working!

You win the prize for most ridiculous post of the day. Most divorced from reality.
Congratulations. Your prize is to spend the rest of the day snuggled up nice and warm in your safe space, surrounded by your blanket of fantasy.

In terms of tests per million population, there are more than a dozen European countries that are ahead of USA. Spain, Portugal, UK to name three.

    Enjoy your safe space.

These statements sum up the situation perfectly...

    SNIP
“I would not expect the United States to be even close to make the cut at this time,” said Annika Hinze, professor of political science at Fordham University.

“There is simply no cohesive national policy to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the United States, whereas even comparably federalized systems in the EU, such as Germany, were able to devise a national strategy to combat the virus.”

The U.S. reportedly lobbied intensely to get onto the safe list.

China has, by nearly a factor of 3.
But total number of tests is irrelevant. Switzerland could test its entire population (100% coverage) four times over and still not reach the number of tests USA has done (which is only about 10% coverage). The only thing that can be compared is tests per million population and as I said there are at least a dozen European countries ahead of America.
If you want to play the raw numbers game, America has far more infections and deaths than anywhere else. By a huge margin.

Counting tests in total numbers doesn't make any sense. It's only meaningful if calculated per capita.
Per capita, inter alia the UK, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Portugal have tested more than the US.
    https://www.statista.com/statistics/1104645/covid19-testing-rate-select-countries-worldwide/
    https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/full-list-cumulative-total-tests-per-thousand
    https://ourworldindata.org/coronavi...-performed-relative-to-the-size-of-population

But even the that doesn't really paint the whole picture as we can clearly see by the constantly rising numbers of confirmed cases in the US.
Btw, if we count all the test carried out in the EU (and someone made the incorrect claim that the EU was light years behind the US in testing), we arrive at around 37,79 million test in the EU, the US is currently at 35,55 million.

I told you - more than a dozen have tested at rates better than America.
