Yes, Texans are acting like rebellious children. I suppose that is something to applaud.

You only need to be wearing your seat belt when you have an accident so do you wear it all of the time while driving?

Why don't you put your seat belt on ONLY when you need it in an accident?

You wear your seat belt ALL the time as a PREVENTATIVE measure IN CASE you end up in an accident.

Same principle applies to masks. You might never be infected or only be asymptomatic if you are infected but wearing your mask PREVENTS you have ACCIDENTALLY infecting others.

This is NOT rocket science and it does not take away any rights. If EVERYONE wears a mask IN PUBLIC as a PREVENTATIVE measure that greatly REDUCES the spread of the virus.

Currently there is no vaccine, not cure and no herd immunity so all we have are PREVENTATIVE measures like masks and Social Distancing. And before you roll your eyes just remember that you always "social distance" while DRIVING because being too close results in ACCIDENTS. You need that "social distance" on the road as a PREVENTATIVE measure against ACCIDENTS and you need physical Social Distancing in a Pandemic as a PREVENTATIVE measure against the virus.

Once again you are erroneously conflating INDOOR activities with OUTDOOR activities.

Yes, there will eventually be a spike from the protests but the CURRENT SPIKE comes from your governor reopening your economy TOO SOON which is something that you SUPPORTED which makes you no different to those who supported the BLM protests.

WHY did Fauci do that in FEBRUARY?

Why does Fauci recommend wearing masks NOW?

It was the responsibility of your Covidiot-in-Chief to ENSURE that there were sufficient masks AND that people UNDERSTOOD how to wear them and their limitations.

His ABJECT FAILURE has cost the LIVES of tens of thousands of Americans.

Thank you for establishing that you are essentially misquoting Fauci OUT OF CONTEXT when the REASONS for Fauci's remarks in BOTH instances are widely reported and available to everyone.

    Have a nice day!

Hmm, maybe Trump should start each day inhaling tear gas and then a pepper spray booster in the afternoon. What's he got to lose?

Wanna do a comparison between protesters and bar hoppers on mask usage?

He said he didn't before because he feared a run on the masks would deny medical personnel and first responders mask and he was right. As data showed that homemade masks were useful then he recommended them.

❓~ Don't you agree ... The same people who call Donald Trump stupid expect him to perform miracles of the most spectacular variety. The latest : Trump the virologist pandemic expert ! They actually expect Trump to have known more than his advisers . :confuse:´
Over shouts of "Racist ! " by Democrat leaders - Trump shut down travel from China over a month before Dr Fauci announcemd Americans would not have to worry about Wuhan virus - that the risk is "miniscule". Alex Azar [ HHS ] agreed , saying most Americans "are not at risk". Trump used his better judgment - and he was correct.
Trump supplied these liberal screaming governors with everything they needed and asked for. Both Newsom [CA ] and Cuomo [NY ] heavily praised Trump's response. Then Trump did what it took to re-open business so the economy could recover and prevent more businesses from going under.

This is ridiculous behavior from the radical leftist movement in the U.S. today.

Trump was the wrong man at the wrong time. He reacted rather than led. Even his most often touted move, transport ban on Chinese, well some Chinese anyway, came after airlines has already done so.
He was encouraging all is not only under control but great in fact, why 19 cases would soon be zero rather than start social distancing immediately along with hand washing et al. Nothing to see here folks on the same day as the NBA and NCAA sacrificed billions to protect their athletes and fans. On and on he reacted not led. Even to this day he refuses to set an example and put on a mask. Because of that resistance to masks is rampant. I haven't even touched on the many examples of bad advice contrary to his advisors. Will he se an example and get vaccinated? We won't know because he won't be president any more.

Texas started reopening May 1st. If that had caused a spike, it would have happened mid-May.

There are 2575 Covid deaths in Texas. That's a CFR of 1.4% and a CMR of 0.009%.

The only state which cost the lives of tens of thousands is New York.

Now you are just arguing against yourself!

Did TX fully reopen or just partially reopen?

What reopened in TX prior to the current spike?

The virus is NOT a light switch.

    It follows a PATTERN.

Learn to identify the PATTERN and then you can identify the EVENTS that are significant.
