No, I don't think she missed it. She just didn't care.

Because the prez should not need visual stimulation in order to get his attention on matters of national security or any other subject matter included in the PDB. Listen to McCabe describe what material is included in the PDB. It's essential for making informed decisions. But Baby Donald doesn't pay attention unless there are pictures!!!!! Are you effing kidding!!

And how would you be able to make a judgement if the material was factual if you don't read it? Oh.......wait..........I know........you already decided it wasn't because it conflicts with what you believe. That's called being closed minded.

Yet you'll Trust Trump, the guy who recommends injecting disinfectant in your veins and values the opinions of Erdogan and Putin over his intel staff, especially if they are obtained in secret.

    Brilliant.

As usual you over simplify what was said and fail to comprehend what was being said. Not because it's hard but because you don't want to. Your master at CNN count on such as you.

His narrative fits whatever he needs it to. Watch how he condescends and then runs to report any reciprocation.

Right you are. Numerous reports said Trump would be impeached. Imprisoned. The Babylon Bee remarked, "People tend to tune out by the fifth threat to our democracy per day."

    Enjoy the day.

They save the 3 A.M. call for better than Belize or Liechtenstein.

Parsing that "should" a bit says that is your opinion based on facts not directly in evidence. It also flatly fails to include the real-world possibility that time itself, the allocation of time itself for any given issue, is CRUCIAL while these people do have his focused attention. This applied to every president since even verbal updates began. Technology only adds speed of dissemination and speed of criticism / blowback.

Executive briefings since the introduction of Power Point would overwhelmingly disprove the idea visuals do not matter. Later technology assisted and in many cases replaced Power Point itself but the time saved viewing a narrated visual DOES save presidential time.

After they got him out, he surely had time to find unprovable things to allege. Sour Grapes on hot-wheels.

If he listens with his eyes closed, would you accuse him of napping, or concentrating?

The reason graphs or pictures have been included in the briefing material is because Don is too lazy to read. Something that has been widely reported from multiple media outlets referencing multiple sources, not just McCabe. He has to be spoon fed the material like a child. Spoon fed material having to do with, for example, COVID. Material he routinely ignores or doesn't pay attention to in the first place.
Which is where the all too convenient "fake news" meme comes in to play. It gives Trumpleton's permission (in their minds) to deny the veracity of any and all reporting on Dear Leader revealing the many reasons why he is unfit to be prez.

Breaking with tradition, Trump skips president’s written intelligence report and relies on oral briefings

'Willful Ignorance.' Inside President Trump's Troubled Intelligence Briefings

    https://time.com/5518947/donald-trump-intelligence-briefings-national-security/

"Citing multiple in-person episodes, these intelligence officials say Trump displays what one called “willful ignorance” when presented with analyses generated by America’s $81 billion-a-year intelligence services. The officials, who include analysts who prepare Trump’s briefs and the briefers themselves, describe futile attempts to keep his attention by using visual aids, confining some briefing points to two or three sentences, and repeating his name and title as frequently as possible.

What is most troubling, say these officials and others in government and on Capitol Hill who have been briefed on the episodes, are Trump’s angry reactions when he is given information that contradicts positions he has taken or beliefs he holds. Two intelligence officers even reported that they have been warned to avoid giving the President intelligence assessments that contradict stances he has taken in public."
    .............................................................................................................................
"But Donald Trump, who defied all conventions of campaigning for the White House, is doing the same when it comes to the President's Daily Briefings. Most days he has declined to receive the briefing, making it more of a weekly occurrence than a daily one.

"Well, I get it when I need it."

That was Trump's answer to a question posed by Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. He then added, "First of all, these are very good people that are giving me the briefings. If something should change from this point, immediately call me. I'm available on one minute's notice."

It does raise questions of just how Trump views the CIA and other intelligence agencies. He questioned the competence of and quality of the nation's intelligence gathering operations during the campaign and again this past week when he rejected reports that the CIA has determined Russia tried to disrupt and influence the 2016 vote in hopes of a Trump victory."

So without...ah...being in the room, you know for a firsthand fact of this, yes? Do you always believe only the negative, or do you occasionally delve into the real?

Lyndon Baines Johnson once said he could walk across water and they'd say he couldn't swim. The only change are the parties, not the media.

Watching reality TV shows would be a wrong way to get national security briefing info...
