WOW! What a Hypocrite. This is what you get with the Democrat party. The rule apply to yee but not to thee. This applehead will likely run for President in 2024. All the other wineries must suffer lost sales for "the good of everyone", but not ole Gavin he's not going to lose money when he's makin the rules. I think he is showing us what kind of President he would be. Heaven help anyone not smooching his butt. The Democrats claim they are for the working man, how does that square up when he shuts your job down but keeps his own people employed.

By the way, "he's a" Newsome's winery is PlumpJack Wines, please don't buy any.

There are close to 500 wineries with tasting rooms in Napa. And the active cases, at this time, are 199. The public health department determined they had met criteria to re open the winery tasting rooms. And, from your article, they are following all the necessary precautions. If it were only Newsom's winery open, I would call him an opportunistic scumbag. But as 499 other wineries - his competition - are also allowed to be open (as determined by the dept of health), I would say your post is a lot of hot air designed to cry foul against a California politician.

The PA governor did the same thing -- closed down all the cabinet businesses except his own. I don't believe he will be reelected.

The number is 400. Of course the public health department would find where Newsome's winery is located safe even if it wasn't.

Napa county has only tested 21,358 of 137,744 residents.

Doubtful... people will see through that attempted BS story just like @The Mello Guy saw through this story in under 20 minutes and I saw through the BS story about my governor travelling to North Carolina at the height of the pandemic..

    Ca story = BS
    Pa story = BS
    Va story = BS

    Be best...

It's the hint of impropriety that a politician should steer clear of. Think about the concerns surrounding Trump holdings lodging folks who perhaps are seeking to influence Trump. Now think of the optics if Trump by emergency order closed his competition even for cause.

So Newsome should keep the Napa Valley closed? All 500 wineries should suffer for fear of the perception of impropriety? Do you want the country to open or not?

We are often asked how many wineries there are in Napa Valley. The answer is approximately 1,700 registered wineries according to the Alcoholic Beverage Control of California. That doesn't mean all of these registered wineries have physical tasting rooms you can visit. The number of Napa Valley wineries with tasting rooms is closer to 500.

Horrible optics, stinks of entitled hypocrisy.

Kind of like the Democrats saying Trump's a sexual predator, then nominating a rapist, then defending nominating a rapist, all while continuing to obsessively attack Trump.

    Democrats - whatcha gonna do?

No, I think if the case for leaving Napa Valley open is articulable then that's what should be done.

The PA story about the governor keeping his own business open while shutting down competitors was in local PA media, which has no reason to fabricate a story about how rotten democrats are. We all already know it.

They answer directly to their readers. You, on the other hand, answer to no one, but disappear after your drive-by shootings.

"local PA media" doesn't post anything to the Internet?? No major media outlet (or even Breitbart) picked this up and put it on their Internet space??

I find that odd in 2020

I answer to my wife... and I'm on this site nearly everyday....

BTW, You have the best PF.com Forum name for the alt-right in November 2020... don't change a thing...

Thanks for the heads up. Pelosi's nephew has always been a world class arrogant asshat. This just is more proof of that.
