I see reality isn't going to enter your equation..

On one hand there were people lusting for blood, and they're still screaming for blood in the streets. On the other hand you had protests, and they didn't exactly ask our permission.

Advocating the killing of people now so they don't die later from disease is crazy. You know, standard Hollywood psycho asking why they are making him kill. That kind of crazy.

Or you hope it all works out. Which it is doing.

See the little squiggly thing at the end of the sentence??? They call that a question mark. If it had been a statement it would have ended in a period...
    Slick, huh?

I'm as surprised as you are. But New York had more protests than most and cases went down.

I think that's why Cuomo just said he's not going to open the bars yet.

Too late now. The major error was fighting the virus crisis with an economic crisis. Forcing companies to close ruined lives and created a backlash which I believe has killed more people than we would have experienced without the shutdown. At this point all we can do is open everything and motivate people to do their part in avoiding infection - masks, distancing etc.

I think you may be right. I guess I took it for granted that our leaders would know how to handle things for the most part. It's unbelievable something like this could happen.

It is common sense. I'm truly astounded that an entire nation fell for something that common sense tells us will hurt more than it will fix. Our "leaders" aren't leaders. They are political hacks enjoying their political power.

Actually they were quick to open. Unfortunately they don't have the guts to leave things open. They are no better than the dems.

Well, as we both know, most people don't want to think for themselves are rely on leaders to tell them what to do even if they are not actually leading.

National containment should be decreed now for a period of one month.

    Trump will never do it.

Then there will be another 80,000-100,000 deaths before Biden takes power and acts accordingly.

Yeah, I think it's clear Trump has given up. Who knew being President would be so hard. His first test and he cuts and runs.

Hasn't stopped our brave souls from demonstrating and destructicating. Oh yeah, I forgot that those actions make one immune to the virus.

Biden will have to take power at gunpoint because he isn't going to win the election.

Open up and let people make their own way through this but first put a stop to all the government approved destruction. Put some cops back in problem areas and shoot a few people to make a point that it's over.

I was with you until "shoot a few people". Do you really think that would help given the current climate?

Yes I do. It would regain control which would then permit voices of reason to work out some solutions. There is nothing reasonable or justified about what is taking place today.

Nationaly, Trump's short 12 million voters.

He's lost an average of 7% support in every battleground state... including Texas.

That's a lot of people to convince by November.

Be sure and count the right noses, y'all failed to do that last time. Trump is secure, this shut down and the accompanying **** storm of fire rocks and destruction is not making Democrats friends.
