You're gonna vote for Kanye West ?

Maybe you're too racist to vote for him...

You just described nearly every politician in Washington. I don’t see how most politicians are any more qualified than this guy.

They voted for Obama. Look at all the damage he did to the party. He did more damage than hardly any other Democrat president to the party. They elected the guy TWICE! He had charisma but he wasn't very smart. Are you really going to try to claim that blacks didn't vote for Obama based on his skin color? Hell yeah some blacks will vote for the guy based on skin color. Look at who they elected as the mayor of Baltimore and Chicago.

Democrats still trying to undo the damage Obama’s presidency inflicted on the party

"Almost a decade later, Democrats are still struggling at the state level with the nationwide political devastation of Barack Obama’s presidency, notably his first midterm elections in 2010.
Obama is still popular among Democrats, although some of the 2020 candidates are taking shots at his insufficiently progressive record as a way to damage former Vice President Joe Biden. If they dared look honestly at Obama’s political legacy outside Washington, D.C., however, there would be a whole lot more criticism.
It looks likely to be a few more cycles, if then, before Democrats, the world’s second-oldest political party, fully recover from those immense losses under Obama’s party leadership."

"Under President Obama, Democrats lost upwards of 1,000 legislative seats along with control of chamber after chamber, plus numerous governors’ offices. In 2010 alone, the GOP captured control of 24 state legislative chambers, twice the historical average.
This enabled the GOP to pursue popular conservative agendas in state after state with little fear of gridlock or veto. Although you wouldn’t know it from D.C-centric media coverage, more significant, long-lasting legislation gets enacted at the state level.
Additionally, state legislatures and governors’ chairs are the farm teams of federal politics where up-and-comers practice their trade and build statewide name recognition that secures future election victories. Those GOP successes erased much of a generation of future federal Democrats.
However, perhaps most important from a long-term perspective, the Obama wounds handed state Republicans widespread control of legislative redistricting stemming from the 2010 Census, setting them up for enduring election successes."

You got me, but certainly not the great majority of voters who hate Trump and/or are voting for Joe...

But, by all means, let's get him on the debate stage, along with Larry the Cable Guy, the last 4 winners of America's Got Talent and a chain saw juggler (if the juggler didn't win AGT)...

Seacrest can host... maybe bring back the Solid Gold dancers to open??

Oh please... keep comparing Barack Obama to Kanye West.... it's going to be a long hot day here...

I give most black voters enough credit to be able to differentiate the 2....

We've already got the first Kardashian White House, might as well go all the way.

Of course, conservatives, you should know that Kanye will be pulling the 10% of black voters that would have
voted for Trump out of his totals and Trump won by a very slim margin in the swing states. And it could really backfire if
this is a stunt cooked up between Trump and Kanye.

It isn't a comparison of the two candidates but i can understand why you wouldn't have the capacity to understand my post. You don't want to. It is just a statement about your assumption that blacks don't vote for stupid candidates based on their color. Hell, there are a lot of whites that vote for blacks based on their skin color.

Yeah, that was my first thought as well.... As well as my son's when i told him the news... He said he thinks this is to determine if Kanye is popular enough to replace Pence on the ticket.... hmmm...

I also don't think there was any chance Trump was going to ever get 10% of the black vote anyway.... He got 8% in 2016.

Maybe with the fair economy in pre-COVID times, but not now...

Kanye is doing music ministry and I think he's sincere but he should stay out of politics ... and I don't hate Trump but I don't care for his brand of politics. I'd expect anyone who takes their citizenship seriously enough to vote not to cast a serious vote for West.

That's nice that you have an open mind :). In addition to no experience, and provocative statements his behavior is too erratic. Of course, it could be because he uses publicity stunts to get attention. We need a President not an entertainer.

She is deformed. Here is the non photoshopped version. Looks like shes trying to smuggle 10lbs of cottage cheese in each cheek.

I think Kanye himself would be an OK president, I’d probably even vote for him.
But I can’t get over the thought of Kim Kardashian being the First Lady.
We already experience literally political circus right now, and with Kanye it will be like 100 times what we already see.
But, I almost want to see him run to watch liberals finding a way to attack his blackness.

My guess is he will play the race angle. I'd be pleasantly surprised if he didn't.

If he runs he will take away the primary weapon of progressives - they won’t be able to accuse his followers of racism. They’d probably descend into calling him Uncle Tom, which will show their black constituents how racist Democratic Party really is.
I don’t know how serious he is about running, but it would be interesting to watch progressives.
