Why is it that people always make such an issue over being "unarmed"? As if being unarmed means that they are helpless. Maybe if its a 100 year old I could understand...someone like the people involved in this story? I don't get it. Unarmed people can be just as deadly as someone with a gun. In fact you can disarm an armed person quite easily given the right circumstances and a bit of knowledge. Which makes that unarmed person more dangerous.

She prevents couple from leaving and then threatens pregnant woman and pregnant woman pulls gun. Who would have seen that coming? The couple tried to just move on but Noooooooooooooooooooo. She threatens to kick the white woman's "white ass" multiple times. **** her. She's a racist. Here's the shame of all this. She is teaching her daughter to be a racist. The charges will be dropped.

The only hatred and bigotry in this story is from the black mother and that unfortunate black teenager who has been raised to see "white privilege" where it does not exist. The girl has been taught to kindle bigotry and hate. This will not promote a life full of happiness and success for the kid.

Wuestenberg probably wouldn't have been fired for something his wife did if he didn't work for a university. Universities are caving to the demands of "social justice" warriors instead of having equitable principles based on reason and "real justice".

As for the white woman, she tried to deescalate the situation down to about a level 3 and leave, but when the black woman got behind the vehicle and hit it, the white woman raised the tension and hostility level to about a 12. That was an unfortunate judgment. The couple should have just continued to back the vehicle very slowly and departed (as they tried to do throughout the harassment by the black women).

 

Nope. I don't have to get prior approval. There's no license involved. For want of a more precise term it's a presumptive right. I have the right to carry a concealed weapon until it's proved that I don't. All the due process, warrant and probable cause protections are in place.

My possession of a concealed weapon isn't questionable by anyone without probable cause or reasonable suspicion. Just possessing the concealed weapon isn't grounds for investigation, administrative detention or any query at all.

 

Your DENIALISM does not negate any of the FACTUALLY documented REGULATIONS pertaining to carrying firearms in VT.

How do you know she was safe in her vehicle? They were being prevented from leaving. Why were they being prevented from leaving? Clearly they had plans for them since they didn't want them to leave.

It can easily be argued that the gun prevented whatever incident would've happened had they been forced to stay there longer.

Pregnant? I call BS. The article linked in the OP doesn't say that, and I watched the video. She has a little extra belly fat, which happens to many women when they reach a certsin age. She looks at least 50 to me, so please don't use pregnancy to make her more of a victim unless you have proof, like an alternative article including that detail.

She was incredibly stupid to respond at all, much less to get into her car, and instead of just staying in her car and driving away, out she comes with a gun in her hands. She may have had the legal right to carry, but brandishing a gun in a public parking lot and waving it at other (also very stupid) people, with the very real possibility of firing it and hitting an innocent bystander, is certainly not legal in any state that I know of.

 

THEY TRIED TO DRIVE AWAY. They were prevented from driving away, that is why she got out.

She was threatened multiple times so pulling a gun was not illegal. The entire point of conceal carry was put on display here. They were threatened and because they had a gun, they ended up unharmed.

What if they didn't have a gun? They couldn't leave, so what would've happened to them? Surely something was planned since they were prevented from leaving....right?

The point is you don't know what would've happened without the gun. But with the gun, nothing happened.

 

There is so much wrong with this event.

The Black mother and daughter broke laws and threatened the pregnant woman before a gun was ever drawn. You cannot block someone from leaving. You cannot threaten people.

The couple was amazingly nice, respectful, and chill until the mother and daughter escalated to a point where they should have feared for the mother's and baby's lives. How does any DA viewing this video do anything except arrest the Black mom and daughter for assault, illegal detention, disturbing the peace, and I am sure a few other charges? What has happened to our Justice system? Did it become "woke"? It's supposed to be blind.

 

Bee ess. They could have left at any time. There were no vehicles blocking their way.

If they'd had more than two brain cells, they wouldn't have gotten into an argument in the first place. That goes for the others, too.

There's a reason why the gun toting woman was arrested. IMO, as previously stated, they should all be locked up for a few days.

 

You're dead wrong and the video proves it. They were prevented from leaving as soon as they tried. Had they tried to leave sooner, what makes you think they would've been able to? Also, that you mentioned that there were no vehicles in their way makes me believe you haven't even watched the videos posted. Other vehicles were not why they couldn't leave.

And don't say they shouldn't have gotten into the argument, they didn't start it.
