What's your point? If Obama didn't have any personal control over lone wolf idiots, then why exactly do you think Trump would have any control? If Biden is elected, what will you say about the shootings or terrorist attacks which take place during his term, especially if we were to have another 911-type event (God forbid)?

Dead bodies are dead bodies. "Blame the President", or make a joke about being "number one" in mass shootings. I disagree with that rather appalling approach.

I wasn't blaming the President(Obama) for their actions, I blamed him for his lack of leadership in establishing that's not okay, that's not acceptable. Like Trump did in Mount Rushmore. Trump set a line, then he enforced it with an EO. And he didn't stutter or waver in his commitments about that line.

That line, also happens to be the same line most of us citizens would enforce, and what we expected our LOCAL and state governments(ran mostly by Democrats) to uphold. It took the President to uphold them.

So you are saying the military police put up with the constant taunting and provocation of a mob for around 28 minutes, but when they push towards the police line, police resorted to the crowd control measure of an offensive gas discharge, instead of bullets or batons or tasers. Police were wrong. They were way too tolerant.

Seems you also have forgotten that it is the epidemic that has put people of all races out of work, not Trump- and prior to the epidemic, black unemployment was at an all time high.
And qualification for congress should include color? NOT a parameter of value except to appease the people who whine loudest and think least.

Once again you are not seeing the point

whilst living in a “us and them” world the very exclusiveness is alienating those who are the independents and you will need them coming up.to November to drag Trumps approval rating above 40%

Back to the topic of Tucker Carlson.

I think he would be terrible for the Republican party. Voters have "division fatigue" after almost 12 straight years of having a divider-in-chief in the White House. Biden is winning because he is just saying, "I'm the unifier. The guy who knows how to work across the aisle." Given his track record through 50 years of politics, that's an obvious lie, but that is what the majority of undecideds apparently want to hear right now. People are tired of a president who appears to speak only to half of America by insulting the other half. Both "sides" are guilty, and continued partisan hate is quickly turning into a disaster because it's giving rise to a very powerful and dangerous 3rd party, the Cultural Marxists, who are disguised in sheep's skin under "Justice Democrats" and/or "Progessive Democrats" labels.

Most Americans are "liberal", as defined by respect for individual agency, support for freedom of speech, opportunistic capitalism where you can pursue the career of your choice, the right to own property, the right to start a business, support for being protected from harm by a well-trained police system, the right to defend oneself from harm, and mostly, the equal right of every individual American to have the same opportunities for success based on merit. We are also a compassionate country which will provide some sort of safety net to those who fail to succeed here. After that, there are of course, partisan differences on how to achieve our mutual aims, so we split into more "liberal liberals" and more "conservative liberals".

The mutual enemy today of both liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans, and of all Independents and moderates should be to squash this growing trend of Cultural Marxism. These people are opposed to everything the majority would agree on and they wish to destroy the very heart and soul of what made us a liberal country, a land full of opportunity.

Traditional Democrats are being very short-sighted in coddling this dangerous political faction in order to wipe out the Republican Party "once and for all". A coalition of classic liberals and Cultural Marxists can and will do that in a few elections if Republicans and the right wing don't get better at vocalizing in a calm, rational way "why" we are more united than different and "why" we need to be "Americans", not cultural "tribes".

Democrats + Marxists will absolutely crush and silence political opposition. After that, the two parties will be the Democrats versus the Marxists. The latter will start crushing and cannibalizing Democrats, and will destroy American values, with the same political strategy and the same ruthlessness. The Marxists are likely to win. It won't be pretty and the next generation or two, living under authoritarian tyranny, won't know what hit them.

We'd better pray for a "sincerely" unifying candidate in 2024 who can start to rebuild a solid "American Culture". Its a tall ask.

What - the pandemic that Trump himself is promising will magically disappear?

The pandemic that Trump has bungled the response to?

The pandemic which has a higher death toll inAmerica than any other country in the world?

The left is right. Trump should be saying "the pandemic is never going away! We're all going to die!"

I am an independent(specifically, a Nationalist. I tried to revive the term the Third Position, but since America is too uh..simple for nuanced for political terms, I'm now okay with being called a "far right"). I don't think Trump's done everything right. I do think the Democratic Party is in the verge of political collapse, as its ideas haven't worked, and they're in a logical jam.

Especially now with the Trump opposition, anything the current administration did right simply isn't accessible to Biden and the Dems now, to access it would be highly hypocritical and would lose points in their base.

By all means, assume that the president is responsible. He's also why we have hurricanes, floods, and raving idiots setting fire to cities.
What ever was bungled here- the credits go to all the "experts" who have pretty well dictated the strategies that backfired. But of course, that hasn't occurred to you.

But you blame Trump, so you will feel somehow like you score some points, and your ego gets puffed up.
Lot of people throwing common sense and logic out the window right now, and telling us how smart they are. Jump on the bandwagon.

The left has been working on dividing America for decades now; dumbing people, making them weaker, more dependent on government and democrats. Shifted into high gear the moment Trump decided to run- lest he spoil their plans. Blame him for what they have done... Hell of a strategy, IF enough of the people have been dumbed down to the point they will buy it.

I don't think America will be ready for another Trump so soon, after it took the Nazis a few decades before they began making a comeback in Europe. It would be very much in character fo the Republicans to run another TV personality with no experience in government. Republicans look for someone who can articulate their ideology. Being able to actually get anything accomplished is never a priority. Couldn't you at try to find a candidate who isn't a white nationalist? My hope is that after their crushing defeat in the fall a new Republican party will emerge from the ashes. A party that is ready put it's racist past behind it. It would also nice if they would hire some policy experts and get rid of their media consultants and media aides. And come ready to contribute something to the running of the country beyond their ideological bullshit.

And there were already two wars in progress and a full on depression BEFORE Obama stepped foot in office - yet you blame him for the shape of the economy on that day. It's part of the job. Crap happens. Bad economies occur and it goes on the record of the President in charge ... unless you want to agree that Trump isn't really in charge - that he's just an empty suit.

The "protestors " are the one who didn't need to be there. If it were not for the threat of the mob, THEN the police wouldn't have needed to be there.
We already know what happens when the police stand back, don't we? Or is this your idea of "peaceful protest"?
They don't start that way. Takes the a while to whip themselves into a mob in insane frenzy, but seems to happen everytime.
