moderate smokers just may be better at clearing the lungs of fluid, something is up though that so few smokers have serious effects from the virus, definitely something to check out, never want to ignore something with number like that

I would also add, smokers tend to gather in groups due to limited smoking areas, so probably not the best social distancers

 

I quit once cold turkey for a year and a half, then picked it back up, like a dumb dog returning to it's vomit. Silver lining? I even smoke filterless!

Tried that and failed, i just steeled my mind and up and quit. Still kept drinking. Then one day said "oh what the hell" ....It was a "spiritual battle" for me, if you will.

I tell you the truth, I was injecting meth for 2 straight years, I likewise...up and quit, been 6 years now, not remotely tempted, sickened by the thought...

When they say ciggs are harder to quit than hard drugs...I do concur. Oh well, seems some type of vice, presents a "huckleberry" to most of us, in life.

 

Addiction is hard to beat for sure, those that do it, should be proud of the accomplishment

That assumes that every man, woman and child in the USA is infected. Were that the case, then and only then would that statistic be true.

You are smart enough to realize this, right?

In reality, for those actually interested in facts, at current: 4.43% of all who have been diagnosed with C19 have died: 132,662 / 2,992,605 = 4.43%.

So, let's take that against 330,779,957..... wait, let's now, because that would be just as wrong and for all the same reasons. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

You could, however, calculate the death rate as actual deaths / total administered tests: currently 132,662 / 37,620,664 = 0.35%. And 0.35% is almost ELEVEN times more than 0.032%, nööööö..... must suck to be that far away from reality, nöööööö-

Extrapolate that out to 331 million people and that would give you: 1,158,500 dead Americans. And that best case scenario is only if the virus doesn't get out of control. It can get far, far, far worse. So, I am bookmarking this posting of yours so that I may remind you in the future of your folly.

You should delete that graphic. It is utter stupidity.

If you are ok with 1.2 million people dying because well, geewhiz, 99% will still survive, then I feel very, very sorry for you.
