What do these people want? If they want respect then the best way to get it is to show respect. And if they hate this country, why don't they leave?

They want what white Americans have always had.

 

I don't think affirmative action equates to equal rights. No, no, what they want is special rights. Yes, that's what they want. And that's what your side is arguing for.

 

They're not acting like Americans.

 

Real Americans do not identify with race. They see themselves as Americans, not “black Americans”, or “white Americans”, or “hispanic Americans”.

Having things like “black history month” is as stupid as having something like “green eyed people history month”. Events and organizations that focus on race are destructive and divisive.

 

My "side" wants to reach a point in our society where skin color, race, gender, and religious affiliation just don't matter. If that takes some temporary "special" measures due to the resistance of those who have had all of the power and privilege since this country was founded, so be it.

 

Is that right? Do please tell us how Americans act.

I'm guessing that you want minorities to have equal rights and access to true justice. How do you propose that they get those things? Because just asking hasn't worked. Programs like Affirmative Action, while somewhat helpful, haven't worked. Trying to vote for what they need hasn't worked. Forming committees and discussing it hasn't worked. What do you propose?

 

They already have equal rights. All Americans do.

No, they most certainly do not. If everyone obeyed the law and the constitution and all amendments when dealing with minorities, that might be true.

Looked at your video saw nothing to link them to BLM. Saw no flag burned. Saw nothing to show the video was in Washington DC or that it was taken on the 4th of July. Did see a group of people wiping their feet on an American flag one carrying a sign saying Make racism strong again. My conclusion is that one doesn't know who these people are, where the were, when they were doing it, or why they were doing it.

 

Now they ripped down a monument to frederick douglas.

 

On a related thread, one of those "special" measures included murdering an 8 year old Black child because the mother who was driving didn't stop for an illegal BLM roadblock.

"Your side" has made it abundantly clear that they care nothing about the primary threat to Black lives: Blacks killing other Blacks because they can't blame the "wicked, evil and greedy White devil oppressor" for their own failure and indifference.

It is glaringly obvious that the selectively outraged, chronically offended members of BLM only want free stuff and to commit crimes with impunity.

 

Every American regardless of color should listen to the first three minutes of this explanation as to why the blm movement is a disaster for the community.

 

DO BLACK LIVES MATTER TO BLACK LIVES MATTER?

If Black Lives Matter was true to its name, there would be as much global outrage over the death of eight year old Secoriea Turner, gunned down by anti-police protesters in Atlanta Sunday night, as there was for George Floyd.​

Turner was out with her mother and a friend when they tried to park near a burnt out fast food restaurant where Rayshard Brooks was killed in a scuffle with police last month – and which has been occupied by demonstrators ever since.​

A group of demonstrators who had been blocking the site confronted the family.​

“At some point, someone in that group opened fire on the vehicle, striking it multiple times and striking the child who was inside. The driver then drove to Atlanta Medical Center for help”, but it was too late for little Secoriea.​

It’s only the latest outrage to occur in the past several weeks of civil unrest that have seen legitimate grievances over police brutality and the killing of George Floyd be hijacked by Black Lives Matter, a group with a more radical agendas than simply reforming law enforcement and fighting police brutality.​

After New York City disbanded an elite NYPD anti-crime unit, shootings rose in the last two weeks of June by 205 per cent – and gunshot injuries likewise increased by 238 per cent over the same period the previous year.​

And many if not most of the victims have been African-American.​

As Hazel Thomas, whose 35 year old son Jomo Glasgow was murdered outside a party in Brooklyn told the New York Post, “I feel like we are giving the streets back to criminals”.

Or as Secoriea Turner’s tearful father, Secoriya Williamson, told local media in Atlanta, “They say black lives matter … but you killed your own this time. You killed a child. She didn’t do nothing to nobody.”

They don't view you as "theirs" they view you and your now dead daughter as acceptable collateral damage.

Of course, there won’t be any BLM protest marches held in honor of Jomo, little Secoriea, or any of the other innocents of any race slain in the ensuing crime wave.​

Nope. It’s not in the interest of the powers that be.

So, how many people have been killed since this all began?

 

I think that first you'd have to establish a specific date for "this" and then decide whether you want to include all homicides or just those homicides related to Democrat enabled BLM anarchy.

Since a statue of Fredrick Douglas was just recently destroyed, I think that it has become clear that "this" has nothing to do with protesting police brutality or racism but rather that "this" is just pampered vandals literally getting away with murder.

Black lives only matter when they've been killed by the "wicked, evil and greedy White devil oppressor".

 

They are anti-American Marxists. They just slapped a name on their organization to make them seem to be a group concerned with the lives and safety of blacks in America, which they aren't. Slapping up a nice sounding name for their org gets dim witted idiots like John Cena to donate $1 million to BLM, cuz of the name.
