Anti-police demonstrations may have sparked new coronavirus cases, some cities now acknowledge

So . . . despite concerted leftist media outlet propaganda that maintained that it was ONLY Trump supporters and college-age people socializing that came down with Covid-19 common sense is FINALLY filtering past those propaganda sources to tell the nation the truth. Yes, Virginia, hordes of social distance ignoring 'peaceful' protestors and their perennial shadow -- the violent rioters -- did cause a huge uptick in Covid-19 cases. What a shock!

Hahaha, that was my first thought when the riots first started.

Indeed. It was, after all, just common sense. Funny that -- apparently -- mostly only Right of Center people, and perhaps genuine political independents, figured it out.

I can't believe anyone actually attempted to deny this. It would be obvious to the dullest amongst us. Beyond common sense, a turnip could see it.

    Trump's rallies didn't last for a month.

And it'll kill a disporportionate number of black people according to the left. BLM will kill more blacks than all of police brutality combined through the years.

of course the anti-shutdown protests from the right and the anti-police abuse protests from the left increased the spread

Trump's Rally did not help either

    Don’t need to

They are indoor and that increases the risk of spread plus people at them are refusing to wear masks

Duh. CNN reported this back when the protests started, that many were not socially distancing and would likely spread Covid. But as your boy Pence said, Covid doesn't suspend Americans right to free speech, so I guess you shouldn't complain then, right? I mean, if they can spread it with a campaign event in Tulsa then why not spread it protesting racial inequality, eh?

Of course the protests helped increase it. No doubt about it. I also have to wonder if the protests and the rioting would have happened to the extent that they did if we hadn't just been cooped up for 2 months.

But I will say that in a large portion of the photographs I've seen of the protesters, many were wearing masks. That's a good thing, but on the flipside, masks aren't going to prevent infection in close groups that are in proximity for long periods of time, even if you're outdoors.
