Yes, even late in October, the Real Clear Average showed Clinton leading Trump by 7.1%. That means half of the polls showed an even greater lead for Clinton. Hence all the post election shock and awe and tears from The Clintons fan base.

Very few Trump supporters still take polls or surveys.

In early July of 2016, Clinton was ahead by less than 5 points in the RCP average. And she only polled above 50% for one single stretch of about 4 days in March.

Biden is currently ahead by 8.7 and Biden has polled above 50% for 30 days, so far.

Even Poynter admitted that the pollsters blew it in 2016.

No, but I believe the people they're talking to are. Nobody wants loony protester showing up in front of their homes after being doxed.

Obviously you do care or else you wouldn't be stalking every post I made on this thread and replying to them. It takes a lot of care and attention to do that. I'm glad you are such a fan. Would you like an autograph?

A bogus impeachment based on exaggerated charges hurt the Democrats more than Trump. The unemployment is due to the Chinese Government, however Trump pulled us out of the Obama/Biden stagnant malaise. Tell me why anyone would vote for Joe Biden.

    Believe what you want.

That is an interesting theory. Is this a widespread belief or something you personally believe? Are there some studies that support this? Have there been cases of protestors showing up at peoples homes after a polling company information has been hacked? If you believe the personal information with the polling company is unsafe wouldn't it be better to just not participate rather than lie and give them the wrong information. At minimum they would have your real phone number or address depending on how the polling was done.

    You're claim is absurd.

People will vote for Biden because the man is decent and trustworthy. Because he has an extensive history of public service conducted with honor and respectability. Because he is empathetic and genuinely cares for the well-being of his constituents. Because he is well liked by nearly every demographic, including the right, both domestically and internationally. Because he is notorious for surrounding himself and can be trusted to engage with and listen to relevant and credible experts.

Also, Trump is still impeached and Trump is still the president when the unemployment hit its highest rate since the Great Depression. But you run with the "credit Trump for everything good and blame everyone else for everything bad" if you feel the need to believe that in order to maintain the cult of personality.

All one has to do is get a script of questions and pick up a phone book. Yea, but it's so much fun to watch their faces on election night as their polling favorite sure to win loses.

You think people don't remember the economy under Obama and Biden? You think they don't remember who fixed it? It's the Democrat Governors in blue states keeping those states shut down. Small business owners are losing their businesses right and left in blue states, who do you think they're going to vote for both nationally and locally.

I know a few who do that.
The old Tea Party Movement that made Trump a viable candidate was driven underground by persistent and effective systematic government persecution. The polls designed to disclose the bipartisan antiestablishment political wave in the US are useless indicators.

“Democrats are unique, however, in that a slim majority (53%) do not feel the need to self-censor. Conversely, strong majorities of Republicans (73%) and independents (58%) say they keep some political beliefs to themselves.”

It is always safe to say that you support Democrats.

“In recent weeks, special prosecutor Francis Schmitz has hit dozens of conservative groups with subpoenas demanding documents related to the 2011 and 2012 campaigns to recall Governor Walker and state legislative leaders,” the Wall Street Journal writes.
It continues, “Copies of two subpoenas we’ve seen demand ‘all memoranda, email . . . correspondence, and communications’ both internally and between the subpoena target and some 29 conservative groups, including Wisconsin and national nonprofits, political vendors and party committees. The groups include the League of American Voters, Wisconsin Family Action, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce, Americans for Prosperity—Wisconsin, American Crossroads, the Republican Governors Association, Friends of Scott Walker and the Republican Party of Wisconsin.”
CAPITOL CITY PROJECT, Homes raided, subpoenas issued targeting conservative groups and allies of Scott Walker," By Joe Schoffstall, November 18, 2013.

I just tell them I don't want to participate and don't call me again. Then I block the number. Seems strange to go through the effort of answering the questions just to lie.

Some people may have a really distorted memory of the economy under Obama and Biden, but they definitely will remember that the economy went from an unemployment rate just below 10% to below 5% under Obama. They will also remember that Trump took an unemployment rate of just under 5% and sent it to the worst point since the Great Depression. Some people may even believe that the rate of improvement to the economy changed to a significant degree under Trump, but they would be objectively wrong.

And the states which are currently locking themselves further down are Texas, Arizona, and Florida - none of which have democratic governors. In fact, the Democratic Governors are - on average - handling this virus objectively better than Republican Governors according to an analysis from the AP.

I believe that unless Trump starts to make crushing the virus his singular focus, instead of some bullshit culture war to protect the confederacy, then trump and the gop are in for a world of hurt.

And you know how I know that the Republicans also recognize that fact? Because they will not release any of their internal polling.

Obama fixed the economy. Trump didn't **** it up. The trend lines are the same before and after Trump, until Covid.
