Trump criticizes NASCAR ban on Confederate flags and attacks Black driver, NFL and MLB teams

Democrats are very much concerned about Covid-19, which is not a hoax despite Trump's willingness to use that word while discussing the virus.

 

There is a line at which we should recognize and maintain certain statutes of some individuals even when they engaged or endorsed some evil.

That line is not "protect the confederacy"

 

Trump is making it abundantly clear he knows how to troll you people and give his supporters a good laugh. In professional wresting this is called "generating heat."

 

And Trump is the most over president ever.

 

The willingness of trump supporters to hold their elected official to the same standard as an internet troll is one of the damning and damaging aspects of his influence on his country.

Value is not derived by hatred garnered.

 

I don't expect Trump to treat people with respect who do not deserve respect. The modern day American left do not fall into that class of people deserving respect. When the left lowers the bar for political discourse, as they have for the last 3 years, they cannot expect the opposition to take the high road.

BTW, aren't you one of the Trump obsessed Australians who post here? If so, perhaps you can explain why the Covid virus is exploding in Australian, given the narrative of the left that Trump is responsible for the Virus.

Their only concern with COVID is how to blame to The President for it. Biden has offered NOTHING except try to take credit for what the President did. Did you catch the press conference where the MSM spent half of it on the Presidents tweet even misrepresenting it as you did.

 

No, i am definitely an American. And a better one than someone who wants to cheer on a political leader for trolling a huge segment of the population because they are "not worthy of respect."

I did watch the press conference where they grilled her into lying repeatedly about what he said. Forcing her to repeat time and again that he was not talking about the confederate flag ban because the "totality" of the tweet did not focus on that one issue.

And democrats cared a great deal more about the threat of this virus than Republicans for far longer. I made a thread about trump's blatant lie in March that this virus would go away like a miracle and trump defenders from that thread repeatedly and explicitly dismissed the threat of the virus...some STILL dismiss the threat.

And Democratic governors, on average, are doing much better than republican governors because of their willingness to take this virus seriously.

But if you want to accuse democrats of only caring about the virus because it hurts trump, that means Republicans do not care about the virus because it hurts trump. In other words, trump and specifically his performance as it relates to this virus is ****ing pathetic.

The single best thing you could say, if you wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, is that he asked whether injecting disinfectant was a treatment which could be researched. And that is still the ramblings of a ****ing moron.

The areas which were hit the hardest in the beginning are now some of the only States which are doing a good job. Isn't it ironic that trump started his presidency by wanting to ban international travelers from coming here and now, because if his failure as a leader, Americans are banned from traveling internationally?

 

Well we each have our opinion on what a better American is. However, it is your team (the left) that disparages the American form of Government, the founding Fathers, American culture, American institutions, and our elected leaders. As I said instead of what the country REALLY faces they spend the time on ancillary matters they think they can score points against the President. The ONLY thing the Dems cared about was how could they possibly blame the President for COVID and the Democrats governors like Cuomo made matters WORSE. Yep tear down the monuments, burn all the Confederate flags, erase our history and burn and loot private businesses THAT will end racism and save the country.

 

I scored in the 95th percentile of the LSAT, graduated a top 30 nationally ranked law school, and passed two bar exams. But discussing my accomplishments is a poor method for evaluating his intellect.

Instead, I look to the fact that i have never heard trump discuss any topic (sans teleprompter/pre-written speech...and even then sometimes...oof) where i walked away thinking, "that man has spent many hours thinking about and studying that subject and he has a very extensive and nuanced opinion of the subject."

So, as I do everytime someone wishes to imply that trump is not a ****ing moron, I am going to ask --have YOU ever heard him discuss a subject and reached that conclusion about his level of knowledge on that subject. If so, when and what subject?

No one has ever met that challenge.

 

Setting aside the fact that most of that is an absurdly myopic and simplistic overgeneralization, I am of the opinion that a better American is someone who can love his country while recognizing and working to address the flaws found in its history and present as opposed to blindly ignoring those flaws and denigrating anyone who would dare to criticize the country.

 

It is trump who is the president and he made the decision to make the culture war a central part of his re-election campaign instead of focusing upon covid-19.

And that is precisely why he is failing as a leader and why public approval for trump has dropped like a rock.
