I don't trust any numbers coming out of Russia, China nor Iran.

I've heard it's changed. I stick to the Interstate when I head up that way, so I don't know what it's like anymore. When was the last time you were there?

The state of Arizona has reported +117 daily deaths for 2020-07-007. This the highest death toll until now in this state and the very first time that AZ even came close to 100, much less were to go over 100.

This is exactly what I feared would start to happen.

Over the last 40 days, we had only two days until now with even one state reporting more than 100 daily deaths.

We can only hope that other states do not begin to follow suit.

I mentioned before that my mother lives in Arizona. She had a procedure scheduled to clear some blockage in her blood, but it got cancelled because of the rise virus cases. Very uncomfortable with all this.

Although STAT has done a fabulous reporting/extrapolating job, I no longer trust our daily cases count.

What will enventually/undisputedly confirm our surge of daily cases/hospitalizations is a surge of daily deaths, and IMO, said surge will occur within the next 10 days.

    Thanks.

Indeed, one can really know if everything is being accurately reported and very likely, the true number of infected is between 10-30 times higher, they just don't know it.

What IS useful, as you just tipped on the subject so well, is the death rate: C19 deaths / confirmed cases, because if that number remains stabile over a long time, that gives us a good look into the future.

I expect deaths to take off in the next 13 days, also perhaps in places where people have not even been looking yet, for instance, Idaho.

Not in terms of deaths. Keep our fingers crossed that that does not happen.

    Wish her luck.
She is probably safer at home. It's running wild here in Arizona. I just got out of Covid jail and I've been careful.
But if they want results they need the governor to shut things down. I'm watching my wife chomping at the bit to get out of the house because she can, not because she should.

The world is approximately another 152,000-ish cases away from 12,000,000. This growth is really picking up quite fast.

COVID-19 on the rise in the Middle East?

Here is some of the data for the world at this time, there are currently 19 countries with more than +1,000 new C19 cases thus-far today:

    2020-07-007 COVID-19 middle east on the rise.png

5 of those 19 nations are from the Middle East: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Israel and Turkey.

    The nations who have already crushed their curves, basically had two Covid19 phases;

Phase 1; An escalation of cases, hospitalizations, ventilator usage, and daily deaths.

Phase 2; The opposite of Phase 1.

Question; What’s Phase 3? Phase 3 is a transitional phase from P2 to P1, for example; the United States.

    AND THEN,

Phase 4 is a repeat of Phase 1

    Phase 5, a repeat of Phase 2

My sister went out there to stay with her for a while, but I haven't heard much. Do you know if the Yuma area is bad?

In addition to the above, ZORO has optomesticly set our daily deaths at minus 280, and my response to ZORO; “Don’t be too Trumpish”

Trump reported the good news that not a single Confederate statue has contracted the China virus. Of course Trump never said that because it's the truth.

New cases and as we know its just a matter of time when the deaths come in.
Lets not forget the high percentage of older/retired.
