    Smart move by Biden ... and you can bet he vetted this stance with his advisors like Simone before announcing it. Defund is not the right word to use. Put more resources into preventative programs than incarceration? Yes! Fewer prisons, more Head Start, after school programs, summer work programs for kids,and funding for schools to get them headed in the right direction. Dems still win the election in November. Many Dems are among the 65 percent who don't want to defund completely and who will still vote for Biden.
