If Vance prevails the documents will still not be "seen" unless someone breaks the law. Is that what you are advocating? All this would do would be get them before a grand jury.

While also clearly stating that the President is not immune from even criminal subpoenas.

But in doing what you propose (moving all high risk to a single pool), it increases the costs for the high risk pools to the point that they would not be able to afford to be in the pool. Thats the same as having everyone insure themselves. The entire idea of pools is to spread the risk via aggregate risk scoring. Your idea centralizes it, thus increasing costs. And yes, it would be good for you in the beginning, but later in life you would be the one who could not afford to have that coverage. Since the main driver of this is increased healthcare costs (We can debate the drivers of cost, but that is probably for another time), when people who are in the high risk pool get priced out of the market, they will still get care, but it will then be free from the Hospitals, which then raise their prices to cover those losses. You get to pay it one way or another. Its really a catch 22

Or tax fraud . . . a felony. Not to mention felony campaign finance fraud if the intent was to protect his campaign.

even if Vance and Congress won none of these docs should ever have been made public. The SCOTUS was clear about that and very worried about the intent of Vance and the House dems during oral argument. The transcripts are very amazing to read

Mueller looked into campaign fin...indicted Cohen...didn’t recommend one against trump. why redo an investigation because you didn’t like the results?

the irs has had his tax returns every year. they found nothing worth charging him over. are you suggesting his done tax fraud as president and the IRS is covering for him now?

It will be tied up in the Lower Courts until after November.

After that, it really won't matter who sees them (b/c Trump will already be defeated).

The idea that they may have been made Public (and affected the Election) was squashed.

Mueller didn't indict Cohen; the SDNY did. And they publicly stated they had evidence that Trump directed Cohen's crime, something they wouldn't dream of indicting him for until he leaves office since the SDNY works under the assumption that you can't indict a sitting President. Why do you think Trump and Barr are so desperate to replace the leadership of the SDNY?

Also, Mueller, from the beginning, had no plans of making any recommendations about Trump no matter what he found since he can't indict and saw any public suggestion of indictment as improper because of that fact, instead leaving everything in the hands of Congress. That's off-topic, but just thought I'd clarify.

Cohen's trial = SDNY, not Mueller.

We'll see. The courts are subpoenaing more financial information than what you turn over to the IRS. We've also seen discrepancies in his leaked financials when you compare what he's reported to the IRS to what he's reported to lenders (the latter of which the IRS doesn't have access to).

This is known as "keeping two books." Though there is sometimes a legitimate reason for it, most often it is a sign of tax fraud, bank fraud, or both.

That's not remotely what happened... you are confusing the 2 cases... Vance got sent back so Trump could challenge the subpoena on actual merits instead of bullshit...

It matters who sees ANYONE'S tax returns, do you want a local prosecutor who personally has it in for you to just be able to get your tax returns and make them public?

No one has claimed the virus is a hoax, the hoax has been the misrepresentations about the handling of it.

Cohen plea bargained with Mueller and Mueller nor the FEC found Trump violation campaign finance laws. And if it is a tax violation then Vance should turn it over to the New York taxing authority or the IRS which investigate and prosecute tax fraud.

SDNY. Not Mueller. And SDNY says they have evidence Trump directed Cohen in his campaign finance fraud.

135,000 dead Americans, 3 million cases, and the case counts are still rising.

So say that is a failure of handling this virus is not a hoax.

Plus it sounds like AMI is corroborating even more. Whatever they have, it was enough to get immunity, unlike with Cohen.

To assess the property value of say, Trump Towers, they rely on documentation provided by the Trump companies who manage the towers as part of the process to assess values. Commercial real-estate does not get valued by platt maps like residential does. They rely on bank records and construction information as well. The companies submit thier information to the bank, and then the bank basses part of their assessment off of those documents. If those documents are falsified that is fraud

Breaking news on MSNBC... Cohen went into court this AM to fill out some "paperwork" but has been "taken back into custody"..

    Interesting...

Probably something to do with that dinner out with friends the other day, but who knows...

Don't piss this guy off too much... he's Witness A, although the documents will speak for themselves...
