Her attorney, Robert Barnes stated, “Once all the facts are known, Amy Cooper will be found not guilty of the single, misdemeanor charge filed in this case. The rush to judgment by some in the public, in this cancel culture epidemic, will be proven as wrong as cancel culture itself.”

    Your misogyny is showing.

LOL. Just a few hours ago I was accused of being on "the left" by some right wing hack. Not surprised I'm now accused of being on "the right" by a left wing hack. You partisan hacks just throw out these mindless insults at anyone who disagrees with you or calls you out on your bigotries/hypocrisies.

That's what lawyers always say. I couldn't very well call her a prick now could I? Is it misogyny to call that person her? No, it's a language thing.

You're a misogynist because you think it's okay for a man to intimidate and harass and scare a woman in a secluded area, and blame the woman for calling for help.

NYC released over half the population of Rikers Island in time to enjoy the festivities.

One could reasonably conclude that any mass arrest of the more "energetic" of the peaceful protesters would memorialize an over representation of Rikers' jail birds.

    Can't have that.

This statement over on Quora would see it defeated in section by members of every political stripe. It's just dishonest and beneath the posters usual principled style.

Now, on the use of ever memes, this is worthy of an ever claim:

Releasing criminals just because of this virus is not a policy that I agree with. Not for protestors and not for Manafort.

Amy Cooper and Jussie Smollett should hook up, the union might produce a kid that looks like Orange Man and can only say Hoax the Door...Hodor.

PS. First thing that pops up Binging "hoax the door," Fake Noose.

I thought the lizard lady in the first V series was super hot, but that is down right alien.

""I reacted emotionally and made false assumptions about his intentions when, in fact, I was the one who was acting inappropriately by not having my dog on a leash," she wrote in a public apology.

"When Chris began offering treats to my dog and confronted me in an area where there was no one else nearby and said, 'You're not going to like what I'm going to do next,' I assumed we were being threatened when all he had intended to do was record our encounter on his phone."

This entire matter should have been dropped a long time ago.

Doncha wonder when ANYONE from the right will say one nice word about this man who isn't going to aid prosecutors?

I haven’t seen much from the right about him either way. You’d think this would be an easy one for them to go after, but for most part they’ve been curiously avoiding it.

I commend him for doing the right thing here, even if it’s for self serving reasons. He seems like an otherwise decent guy, who at the time was clueless about the fact she reacted to him the way she did because he was acting like a male creeper in the park. I’m guessing he probably feels bad about that, but has probably been advised that if he acknowledges it publicly then he and his sister are screwed.

I would say illegal for her to make a false 9-11 call.

That poster didn't say that and that is NOT what happened.

Try facts....even if they aren't your friends...

LOL. Keep your alternate facts in your alternate reality. There's no way this ends well for 'birdwatcher' and his sister if this goes to trial. The facts in the case do not support the criminal charge.

So calling 911 and claiming that you are fear of your life from someone who is actually doing nothing to you in your book just deserves a good tongue lashing and sent home. Good thing Cooper had recorded the incident.

Actually, he only recorded half of the conversation. Cooper himself admitted to being a bit over aggressive initially and said that her fear may have been warranted.

I say she had a reason to feel threatened. Both are at fault and no harm, it should be dropped and certainly not something for a DA to time up the courts with.

No one has to say anything about him, none of us know him personally. He admitted he threatened her, she over reacted, they have settled it between themselves.
