This has been ramping up for a few months as we near the election. November 5th the media will either double down on all this. Nonsense.... OR they will switch gears and everything will be Rose's and candy.

    Depends on who wins.

Actually with every one of these community WOKE examples of SJW thinking, the entire Dem Party, represented by Joe Biden, is losing the sympathy of ordinary citizens. This increasingly pandemic style of WOKE thinking now represents the Dem Party itself in the eyes of the rest of the nation.

No, it's just that this particular thread is one that makes the LW look triggered, so in order to try to divert attention away from the topic, he has to engage in - ah, what do they call it here? Whataboutism? Yes, that's it. Anyway, it's an attempt to change the subject.

I think it's also called "trolling".

If the park workers don't like working there, they can always quit and go do something else. The CEO earns what he is worth to the Disney board and to its stock holders, or else, he gets fired!

Thus, the situation is one of justice for everyone, and everyone earns in accordance with the demand for their services, and what they contribute to the overall enterprise. What is so damned hard to understand about THAT?

It's easier to get new employees than a new government contract. Further I doubt Toyota would mind making police cars.

If it wasn't enough for the park workers they could find work elsewhere. They say it's enough by continuing to work there for the pay they get.

If you think they should earn more why don't you give them some of yours?

On a positive note: It appears that there might be about 100 job vacancies at Ford soon.

Easy fix. Have them made in Mexico and lay people off. Problem will be solved.

Exactly. I'm sure Mexicans don't present a list of political correctness demands to their employer. Somewhere along the way our society has really gotten off track.

Remember, when a company claims that it values its employees' input it is lying.

I have owned both. My option is a new Ford drives as nice as a chevy with 80k miles. Had a Ford f350, probably the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Used it on the farm and finally sold it after spending $12000 on repairs before it had 70000 miles on it. The dealership simply could not get the warning light to stay off, stearing wheel wires for radio controls broke inside the wheel, blew a valve and they would not stand behind it at all, had have dash pulled out twice to try to find ac leak that they could not figureout, would derate horsepower when ever it felt like so you had to pull over and restart the engine and go again and simply trying to change the fuel filter yourself was a craps shoot to see if it would prime. The f150 is fine but I will not own a ford diesel again. We replaced it with a Dodge diesel and that thing pull better than the ford. My personal pickup has been Chevys except one Ford and I can say I just don't have any problems with them at all.

News is also something that actually matters and is worthy of the attention of the American public.

If a 4 year old says that he himself has decided that Fruity Pebbles will now be his exclusive diet and the parents say no son you don't get to have a say so because you're 4 years old and your opinion is stupid and also invalid then that isn't news.

Ford employees saying Ford should stop manufacturing police cars is stupid, the adults at Ford should be saying as much. This is a cut and dry issue there is no need for this to make the headlines unless for some asinine reason the Ford leadership hasn't told these people that their opinions are invalid yet.
