We do not agree. Stop the lying about my beliefs. Otherwise you'd be considered just another troll.

Stop lying about my beliefs. That is not ironic. It is an admission you have nothing but falsehoods.

Okay, you explain how you gain credibility shoving falsehoods about SPECIFIC POSTERS' beliefs? Where for example did I attribute something to you personally rather than the herd of leftists who disgrace themselves today?

I can and do trash the Party of the Donkey on an unrelenting basis. I have longstanding reasons, some sharable, others not. If you felt a sting from my generalizations, then I must have been flying over the target. But I do not address specific leftists. They rarely make sense, they always change the subject, and almost never say anything positive about America.

You mean like you did? THAT is the irony I was referring to. Hence why it was bolded.
I don't give a rats ass about Dems OR Repub. What I do care about it correct history.

Putting words in someone's mouth is telling a falsehood. I don't care whether Democrats were conservative or not, they were Democrats and they founded the Klan. Do reconcile yourself to that unassailable fact.

What you really mean is the south.
Once they were Dems, now they are Repubs.

The link between the 2 parties, is they are in the south.
The south is the part of the country that were traitors to the USA.
The south is the part of the country that started a war to own black people.
The south is where they put up statues to idolize traitors to the USA.
The south is where they are trying to stop the removal of traitor statues of those that fought to own black people.

The south today, are acting like traitors once again to the USA.
And if you're hell bent of assigning a political party, today the are largely Republicans.

Those traitors were Democrats. Who do you think put those statues up, Republicans?

Maybe some statues need to come down but there is a legal and right way to approach that. Tearing down a statue just to destroy stuff isn't a moral platform. Those statues are property. Tearing them down is vandalism. If anything the tearing down of statues has exposed the idiocy and ignorance of the people doing it. It isn't the legal right of a crowd to just tear down anything they want. It's a slippery slope that cuts both ways.

Frederick Douglass statue ripped from base in upstate New York
Rochester, N.Y. — A statue of abolitionist Frederick Douglass was ripped from its base in Rochester on the anniversary of one of his most famous speeches, delivered in the city in 1852. Police said the statue was taken on Sunday from Maplewood Park, a site along the Underground Railroad where Douglass and Harriet Tubman helped shuttle slaves to freedom.

The KKK was founded by Democrats. Just because you try to twist the he3ritage of the Democratic party by magically adding on "conservative" to the label doesn't mean anything. Those racist murderers and thugs were Democrats. You guys own them. That is the history that belongs to the Democrats.

I give a rats patooty what party they were 100 yrs ago or more. It's the southern mentality. People change parties all the time.
Today that group of people are republicans.
If you will notice, Impeached president tRUMP is a republican. He is the leader of the voice against taking down the statues of the traitors to the USofA.

I agree, they should be done the legal way.
I don't agree with riots or violence. It defeats the message, IMO.

But when folks get angry, they do stupid things.

I find it curious that the party of Lincoln is so eager to preserve the monuments glorifying his enemies...

I think the poster was referring to Republicans who cherish their rights, 2nd Amendment included, not Democrats who liked to lynch black people after Republicans took their slaves away.

Slave owners were always Democrats. Hangmen were always Democrats. Segregationists were always Democrats. Woodrow Wilson, the patron saint of progressivism was the racist of all racists who was known for segregating bathrooms with the help of racist and anti-Semite FDR.

When the shackles and nooses were gone LBJ invented economic slavery, using Welfare to destroy black families.

Democrats still honor KKK Exalted Cleagle Robert Byrd in 2020. Don't run from your heritage, embrace it along with racist Richard Russell and White Supremacist Stephen Douglas.

They were mostly all from the south.
Today, the south is mostly all Republican. They are fighting against taking down statues of Democrats they idolize. Not because they were democrats, but because they were southern traitors to the USA

I am trying to figure out why I should give a **** what you care about and I figured out that I don't have any ****s left to give. Whether you give a damn or not they were Democrats. I can understand why the truth bothers you since racist history of the Democrats is so disgusting but it's the history they created. I am also puzzled as to where it's in the Constitution where people have a right to not be offended and if a person is they can just tear **** down that doesn't belong to them. Whether those statues come down or stay up aren't in Trump's authority unless they are in DC or some national monument. He has a right to have an opinion.

Yep. They were. Notice the past tense you used.

Founded in 1865, the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) extended into almost every southern state by 1870 and became a vehicle for white southern resistance
    https://www.history.com/topics/reconstruction/ku-klux-klan

The south was dem back then. Today the South is mostly republican. And they idolize those Dems of yesteryear with statues and the flag.
The south were traitors to the USA.
Why do you republicans in the south want to continue to idolize traitors?
    You are Republican, yes?
Why do you personally want to idolize the traitors of the USA?

    Today they are republicans.
I assume you are also republican. And you seem to be arguing for keeping the traitor statues in public and the traitor flag.

I care less what you think about my opinion. I see you, and most every other southern republican today, wanting to continue to idolize the traitors of the USA who wanted to own black people.

The big question is why? Why do you personally want to idolize traitors that wanted to own black people? Today those racist that want to idolize those statues are disgusting republicans.

If you hate those disgusting democrats of yesteryear that were traitors to the USA, you would also be arguing to take them down.
Yet, you, a republican. Are not. You want them idolized.

Blah blah blah. Denial is your friend and it will bite you in the end.

I do not hate anyone. It takes too much energy and eats a person from the inside. I watch what it does to people every day. Russian hoax, Smollet, riots, looting, burning, destroying private property and businesses, assaulting people for not wearing masks, assaulting people for wearing red hats.............

I don't want anything idolized. That's just ignorant projection. You don't know me. I want people to abide by the law, like most of the people in this country. Liberals will learn that they are screwing up condoning and enabling the mayhem in November.

They were all Democrats. Chicago still honors White Supremacist Stephen Douglas. It's no coincidence. Republicans opposed physical slavery in 1860 and opposed LBJ's brand of economic slavery over 100 years later. Embrace your heritage. Don't run from it.
