    President Donald Trump is postponing his New Hampshire campaign rally scheduled for Saturday, blaming a tropical storm expected to hit parts of the East Coast, the White House announced Friday.

    Fay is expected to bring 2 to 4 inches of rain, with the possibility of flash flooding in parts of the mid-Atlantic and southern New England, The U.S. National Hurricane Center said. Tornadoes and strong winds are also expected. Current forecasts do not have Portsmouth being hit directly by the storm.

    Current forecasts are no match for a campaign with a sharpie!!

    A truly unexpected, yet smart move, by the Trump campaign.... weak excuse notwithstanding...

    They also just cannot risk going to a state with next-to-no COVID issues (comparatively) and set the whole thing off again.

    I'm noting the date and time and all my forum foes should as well..... this is going to hurt, but it's like ripping a Band-Aid off......

    I agree with a Trump decision....

    Whew!! Got that over with...

    Anybody have any thoughts on this very late decision?

    Trump should wait until October then book the largest college football stadiums in the country, put 100,000 butts in the stands at Ann Arbor MI, while at the sane time Biden holds rallys at a park and the reporters outnumber the audience. Just for laughs.

    I fully agree, assuming the COVID is waning, which is just a hope at this point with no actual nationwide strategy.

    Most stars close to retirement hold a farewell tour...

    And Biden doesn't hold them because he knows better than to endanger people like that. It's the cult leader in the White House who craves an adoring crowd so much that he'll get people sick and killed just to get his fix.

    Biden doesnt hold rallies because he couldnt fill the secondary meeting room at the airport hilton. No one cares about poor old joe.

    He’s out raised trump the last 2 months


    Despite a pandemic and the subsequent economic free-fall, Trump's reelection campaign and the Republican National Committee announced Wednesday evening they had raised $266 million for the three months ending June 30, including $131 million in June alone.

    A few hours later, Biden's campaign and the Democratic National Committee announced that they had eclipsed Trump's totals, bringing in $282 million during the last quarter and $141 million in June.

    It's the second month in a row that Biden has outraised Trump's campaign.
