LOL... standing in front of his house at night talking to a TV camera with a bizarre mask on is hardly "making the case", except in Trump bizarro world...

    Very true, EB.

The "Roger Stone" Playbook will make up the vast majority of Pro-Trump content (in the run up to the Election).

    ^That is a given.

Still, as to the OP, Trump's Commutation was an Egregious Act that sullied the Office.

^That is Universally Accepted (and Inarguable).

I might be giving my PF.com ignore button a workout until November.... It's very difficult finding a legitimate conservative POV on here anymore... Mostly just TDS sufferers...

After Stone i went down the list of Trump pardons and commutations.... It's a sad sad list of Trump supporters or conservative hacks... The only one that sticks out to me as being extremely warranted (because he's dead) was boxer Jack Johnson... I know Trump had to be told who he was, but that guy was legitimately screwed by a racist system...

Yeah, so it is on record of his arrest and there is the extradition. Seems Trump supporters have a skewed sense of patriotism.

Yeah, I heard a great simple quote this week about the "Patriotism" of Trump supporters... it's now in my signature

    Words to live by...

Good to see there's at least one republican (Mitt) who has the stones (no pun intended) to consistently call-out this disgraceful, corrupt republican POS, bone spurs

Draft-dodger bone spurs clearly needs to go DOWN HARD in Nov... :flagus: :democrat:

Damn! You know it's serious when Robert Mueller himself breaks silence to speak out.

Mueller defends Stone prosecution and says 'his conviction stands' in Washington Post op-ed

(CNN)Former special counsel Robert Mueller, in a very rare move, has written an op-ed for The Washington Post defending his office's prosecution of Roger Stone and saying he is still a convicted felon and "rightly so" in light of President Donald Trump's commutation of Stone.

"Congress also investigated and sought information from Stone. A jury later determined he lied repeatedly to members of Congress. He lied about the identity of his intermediary to WikiLeaks. He lied about the existence of written communications with his intermediary. He lied by denying he had communicated with the Trump campaign about the timing of WikiLeaks' releases. He in fact updated senior campaign officials repeatedly about WikiLeaks. And he tampered with a witness, imploring him to stonewall Congress," Mueller writes in the op-ed posted Saturday evening.

"The jury ultimately convicted Stone of obstruction of a congressional investigation, five counts of making false statements to Congress and tampering with a witness. Because his sentence has been commuted, he will not go to prison. But his conviction stands."

What are you blathering about try addressing what I actually posted

The jury foreman and her blatant prejudice and not disclosing it. The witness he was accused of tampering with said he wasn't tampered.with. You don't believe in justice?

What did Marc Rich have on Clinton?

The alleged victim says he was not tampered with, the jury forewoman had a history of extreme prejudice. Seems a prefect case for a commutation of an unjust sentence.

that’s not proof he did in for trump.

i would like that evidence please

i don’t think they should be behind bars. we know Clapper et al testified there was no evidence of any russian conspiracy in 2016! yet we wasted two years and billions on a political witch hunt that stone got caught up in..trump didn’t pardon stone he just said he shouldn’t go to prison over it

Where is the proof that he abused his powers to commute a criminal? Or that he was an accomplice in anything Trump supposedly did? Did Obama abuse his powers?

, Where was your concern 3 1/2 years ago? Obama commutes 330 sentences, most in single day
    https://www.cnn.com/2017/01/19/politics/obama...
Jan 19, 2017 · The move brings the total number of individuals who sentences Obama reduced to a total of 1,715, including 568 who had been sentenced to life
