I don't know what "WuFlu" is. Sounds like some racist way of referring to Covid 19 but, not being member of the cabal, I am unfamiliar with the term. Please let me know if it was something else. But if you are referring to the Novel Coronavirus, read the OP of this thread. I moved it here so as not to derail the other thread.

This thread was from two moths ago. So the references are from around that time. The exact numbers might have shifted with new studies, but probably not much. When I have the time I'll look to see if there are updates. But the fact is that the virus has only been around for a few months (feels like years) so it's difficult to be more precise. The numbers do not add people who don't return to work because they lost their job. It's a percentage of those who have a job, but can't return to it because of health consequences.

And if people worked while they had it, then obviously they were not hospitalized. Unless they were able to work with a respirator down their windpipe. In which case they are superhumans.

It's way too late for this to be over by election day. Cases are rising; that's an indicator we are in this for awhile, yet. Cases did start going down, and it was great, but everyone started thinking it was over and stopped doing the things.

So, here we are. There's no way we're done by November.

    I agree.

By November the second wave will be in full force unless states start enforcing masks, social distancing and shutting down non-essential businesses that require close contact.

Even with a vaccine, most people will probably not be receiving it until maybe around the middle of next year.

Yes, I am fully aware of that.
My comment was in reference to electing a new president not covid-19.

    FYI: Phase 3

Sorry to ruin your day, but COVID doesn't care who the president is, and it certainly knows nothing about election day. All it cares about is finding new hosts, and Americans are giving it plenty of places to go by not doing the things.

Do you wonder why Florida is too dangerous to hold the Republican convention, but it's safe enough to open the schools?

Again, I am fully aware of that.
My point is that we need a president that acts responsibly and is fully accountable for their actions or lack thereof.

I don't just "wonder". I'm terrified. One of my sons is in middle school here in Florida, and my wife is a school teacher. DeSantis wants to force them to go take a risk that neither he nor Trump nor anybody in the RNC are willing to take. DeSantis even opposes virtual schools. He wants them live and in person... period!

Teachers aren't having it; for what it's worth I'm glad they are collectively suing him.

Rick Scott says the same. The kids have to get back to school, except his grand kids. They need to be home-schooled because, COVID. I passionately dislike the man and sad he represents our state in any way.

    Madness.

Yeah. If you're a billionaire you can't understand why people don't just hire their own live-in teacher.

Rick Scott has more important things on his mind; running for president in 2024.

Hope everyone else finally realizes to use full gas mask like an Army Military filtered mask and that Democrat party congress persons such as Pelosi, Mad Maxine, and Nadler be among the 1st required to be masked at all times to help contain their alien Lizard members from spreading the virus to Republican Congress persons

Otherwise, it may be necessary for more drastic action like using Pauls Pest Control to fully get rid of all the bugs

Rick Scott has way too much baggage. No chance.
