    socialism
a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
    capitalism
an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.

considering most of its population works for the goverment or relies on its goverment
and the walloon goverment controls several sectors of production, parts of distribution and trade i would say it definatly ranks closer to a socialism then capitalism.
dominated by socialist party the last 50+years and payed for by capitalist Flanders

in other words sure a real socialism/communism doesnt exist in this world, but very few nations are 100% capitalist either so does it matter ?
and the governor of the belgium national bank considers that region communist so i'm not the only one who thinks so.

Perhaps but I really don't think that Capitalism is an appellation applicable to political parties. Capitalism is an economic-mechanism and simply replaces barter for money in the purchase/sale of good/services.

I can live with capitalism - it's a lot better than loaves of bread that I might exchange for having a sore tooth pulled.

What I cannot bear is an attitude that has possessed humans since time immemorial. The acquisition of undeserved Wealth. Deserved-wealth, Yes, but undeserved wealth, No.

Especially the kind that makes family names like Rockefeller or Vanderbilt or Gates. There is simply no real Economic Need for billionaires.

None, nada, zip, niente, tipota ...

Not so. Government workers in Belgium are in the middle of the spread between most and least (working for the government)

See here: Employment in public administration per 1,000 inhabitants, in 2015.

It is the Scandanavian countries that have the most (of EU countries) working for the government

More Mary Trump crap again. The NYT is basing their article on false claims by Mary Trump. I have proven numerous times that Mary Trump could not be in possession of tax documents for a tax scam that took place in the 1990's. She supposedly inherited these documents from her father that died back a decade before the scam began. He also left the company three decades before he died. Therefore any claim that the NYT makes that is based on this document is questionable at best. A fake news story at worst.

What's the premise of an IRS investigation? He's audited routinely what have they been missing and why would they find it now?
