    We all stopped believing in the bible a l
    African-American and black were labels given to avoid the previously offensive labels, one of which you used. But neither is the definition of an ethnicity or race. It's become that by white America to lump people all together, but don't act like it accurately describes all people within that range of skin tones. Unless you somehow think that Haitians are the same as Nigerians.

    NFL to stencil 'End Racism' on end zone borders
    Next the NFL will move their venue from a stadium to the streets where the players will carry signs and chant instead of playing with a funny-shaped ball. Then the NFL administration will scratch their heads (hopefully the solid parts, not the holes in) wondering where the viewers and the money went.

    When do you suppose the racial quotas will be enforced? Shouldn't players be reflective of their racial distribution in general? I can't wait for the NBA to adopt it... And while we're at it, shouldn't the quotas extend to gender? I mean, don't we have to give the ladies a fair shot at the millionaire salaries in these leagues? Oh, and can't forget the LGBTQ quotient. Do you suppose we'll see drag uniforms?

    It was purely driven by the black community and yes it identifies their race and ethnicity. Haitian are Haitian but here identify as black.

    Perhaps it wasn't offensive to him or people at the time. It became that way, so sorry.

    Let me put it this way. Let's say you called yourself Larry. And for years, Larry was something you were OK with being called. Then, one day, Larry was used to insult you. It was used to say things like, no Larry's allowed in this store, restaurant, bathroom, drinking fountain, or part of the bus. Would you still be OK with those same people discriminating against you still calling you Larry? Nope. And if you say yes, you are a liar. The term Negro was used against black people and they chose to move on from it. If you can't handle that, that's your problem, not mine or MLK's.

    And the changes in what to call black people were driven by discriminatory use of previous terms by white people. So it's actually driven by you.
