What does this have to do with the thread or the discussion?
I understand y’all cannot answer a straightforward question but it is getting absurd

I don't give a damn how she is....all I know is she's a threat to the country for every day she's on the bench.

P.S. Sorry, but I don't tow the bullshit PC line.

I can see why one might regard the Garland nomination block as "stealing a seat" but unfortunately it was an entirely legal use of the Senate's power not to move on items they don't want to. Do you remember how many bills then-majority leader Reid (D) sat on just previous to the Senate being lost to the Republicans because he and the Democrats did not want them voted on? It was several hundred. And retirement strategizing (Justice Kennedy) is absolutely nothing new to the SCOTUS, both parties have taken full advantage of this and I will bet you literally every single dollar I own that if VP Biden is elected you will see Justice Ginsberg retire in year 1, likely right before mid-terms.

And also, cd8ed, I have to point out that there is no "high ground" in politics. Certainly I hope you don't assume the left can stand on it. Hell, I bet they don't even remember what it looks like its been so long. Remember what they did to Justice Kavanaugh? Parading a coached liar, who's owns friends she named as witness stated unequivocally her story was pure fiction, around as some champion victim and trashing a decent man in the process with lie after lie after lie - 5 times Ford lied under oath. The left knew he was extremely qualified, they knew he was a proven objective judge, they knew he would be confirmed, they knew Ford's story was BS, and they knew he was a decent man with a small army of women who knew him for decades that testified to his high moral character. They knew all of that and trashed him anyways in the most obscenely vile way one can be trashed in politics. So lets not speak of this "high ground" as if it were a thing these people would even recognize.

I was not really involved in politics prior to GW Bush’s last year or so (I was in HS so I had other concerns) so I am not aware how Reid behaved. I do believe we need to stop living in this endless battle to one up what the other party did as it will only lead us down the path to ruin. I hope she does retire as soon as she feels she is able.

I can agree that Kavanaugh was mistreated but claims like he faced have to be investigated to the fullest extent, iirc Republicans also stepped in to sabotage the investigations. I do not know if she lied as there was too much noise surrounding the event but if she did she should be prosecuted. Republicans seemed to have done the same against someone much less credible with Biden.

I never said Democrats could claim moral high ground, I simply said that Republicans could not — I believe that Democrats are ‘less bad’ overall but both sides seem to just make excuses for their team and then are enraged when the other side does the exact same thing. The two party system is destroying this nation and our founding fathers knew this would be our undoing hundreds of years ago.
