So, explain why there should be any? Two things. Clearly, the virus came to us, it didn't magically develop independently on its own, did it? Even with all of the safeguards that we've been required to implement, cases are still happening. Why? If folks follow the procedures and they are still becoming infected, why shouldn't we change to a more effective process? Demanding that we continue with what we are doing is ludicrous. Clearly, the medical forensic folks don't understand a) how the virus is being transmitted, and their current methods to provide protection are ineffective and b) they clearly don't seem to care about it. And it is incredible that folks continue to defend a process that is frankly so demonstrably ineffective.

It's a common problem in the poorly educated set and we just have to deal with them, stay away from them when necessary, and report them when in violation.

 

Ok, so stay home, never venture out. never again collect a paycheck, don't eat. That sounds super. And if you aren't willing to do that, you have no room to comment. You become just as actively a part of the thing you suggest you fear. The nation? Think about the world. This isn't just here. It's burning down the planet around you. And all you have is this BS paternalism. Control of everyone else you fear. That is your model.

 

Because not all people are following the advice! Just walk the streets and observe the many who are not bothering to keep any distance, not bothering to wear a mask, walking into stores and again refusing to wear a mask or keep any distance from others in the store. This is why the virus is spreading uncontrolled

 

LOL.... So, only from a lens of fear can you suggest that those who might not follow the guidelines have something to worry about. did you scream for the protests not to happen at a time when clearly, not all of their participants were following the guidelines? How do you expect that this virus continues to spread? Even with folks taking precautions, the evidence is suggesting that those precautions weren't adequate and that they are still being infected. That is the data. Here's a thought bubble. If you looked everyone down for another two weeks, and didn't allow anyone out, on the street, would that suffice? Would it cure the nation? Would you be satisfied that no further transmission could occur? What actually would satisfy you?

 

There is no evidence that people do not follow the rules.

If everyone acts in a safe manner...we can keep infection levels low (and viral doses low) and with testing, tracing, and isolation we can HAVE the kind of activity that you claim to want.

Did you see the pictures of bars and restaurants in the sun belt states before the virus exploded there? Have you missed that masks were not mandated (and were in fact discouraged in some places...Kemp) until AFTER the explosion?

 

I provided you with what "safe" is. Everything else is a risk. You tell folks that their wearing a mask protects you. And you wearing a mask protects whom? You claim that you aren't sick, so the only thing you are actually asking for is for everyone else to protect you from them. That sounds, well, selfish at best. You have zero idea what will or won't keep infection levels "low" whatever that means. You're still willing to allow folks to become infected, aren't you? You just wrote as much. Why? Are you not willing to shoulder some of the pain here? Or do others simply have to do the lifting for you so you aren't inconvenienced?

here's you prescription. You want folks tacked. why? Did you suddenly find a power that allows you to know where everyone is, all the time? Find this in the constitution of our nation. Can you? And yet, you'd require it of everyone. Why? You'd require everyone to isolate. Ok, what happens to the economy then? It would be safe to assume that there wouldn't be an economy given your prescriptions. But you'd sure know where everyone went, wouldn't you?

 

It is small percentage and it does not happen frequently.
99% of the stores require masks and I see that people follow orders diligently.
I see it in Illinois as well as in Florida.
I can't imagine what else people can do.
There is no statistically significant evidences that people are not compliant.

 

The virus coincidentally exploded day after States were allowed to open (not after two four weeks but exactly next day after opening).
That makes me to believe that numbers are fake.
During the lockdown Florida was much stricter

Meat packers are using masks and social distancing. Social distancing is one reason productivity is still down and meat is expensive and in short supply. Plexiglass shields like you see at grocery stores etc are also in use between workers.

It’s helping but certainly not as much as we would expect based on current claims of mask, distancing, and shielding efficacy.
