    Can probably rule out one of the Left Marxist Democrats placing the Trump sticker because :
    1. Anything with “Trump” printed on it, is life threatening to the Left much as water is to the Wicked Witch of the West
    2. Instead of a sticker on a collar, the Bear would have had an American Flag diaper with Trump name on it

    It's (mechanically speaking) in the same category of religiosity as historical Church-generated terror of so much as thinking about Satan, much less uttering the word. I'm frankly surprised people aren't crossing themselves every time they hear or see the word Trump.

    They will post his name on the internet and send him death threats. They will hound his employer, in an effort to get him fired. In general,, his life will be made as miserable as the nutjobs can make it.

    Presumably because they want to work out how it even happened. It seems to me one of three possibilities;
    Someone put a political sticker to the collar before it was attached, which is questionable at least and, if it is a government scheme tagging the bears, potentially illegal.
    Someone temporarily disabled the bear somehow just so they could attach the sticker, which is could obviously be harmful to the animal and potentially illegal.
    Someone approached a conscious bear just to attach a political sticker to it, in which case that person needs protecting from themselves!

    The project was for urban and suburban bears.

    You have to allow for the possibility that they are accustomed to people.

    My state used to have the biggest Grizzlies (brown bear subspecies), weighing over a ton but now its just black bear that are relatively harmless.

    They were hunted first by the natives, then the spanish, then the mexicans, and then Americans.

    For 100 years they have been extinct. Since its a subspecies, a variant of brown bears, its theoretically possible they can come back, but with this population density it wont happen anytime soon.

    Grizzlies, far more than black bear are man killers.

    How about a 4th possibility? A golden haired girl in pigtails came in and asked three bears if they’re voting for Biden, and when they all said “He’ll no” she placed a MAGA sticker on the baby bear.
