The intelligent and aware among us know that masks are not even near 100 % effective to prevent spreading but if we are aware and intelligent we do know that a reduction in spreading desease is worth the risk. Condoms are not 100% in doing what they are advertised to do but it is only only fools or idiots that totally disregard the risk of spreading or acquiring a desease or fail to reduce the risk of an unwanted pregnancy.

    I would view throwing coffee that she drank from on me as an attempt of murder by covid. I would have pressed charges, and sued that whiny little b*tch into poverty. Only because society, and my own moral decency, would frown upon the way I'd really rather handle the situation... LOL

    And I love how you lefties (please, tell us all again how you're not a lefty, we love hearing it) throw around that accusation any chance you get....so desperate to paint the other side as the ones who get offended easily when everybody, both left and right, know good and well the left lives in a constant state of being triggered (started about 4 years ago).     The drink thrower is very lucky he didn't end up in much worse shape than that. I'm surprised the girl didn't get knocked out too. They are extremely lucky those dudes just sitting there eating their burritos were nice guys. People get killed over smaller things every day.

    I look forward to all these liberal cities defunding police (sarcasm- kinda). They deserve the crap they put themselves in lol. My cousins are true liberals, police officers in Boston, and they are now convinced the population doesn't want them around. I told them- hey, when they call 911 and it's dispatched to you, in your beat, just say "we'll send our thoughts to you" lol. joking of course. but who knows how this defund thing will play out...

    Y'all know that I am a big proponent of mask wearing but would never deem it necessary to throw hot coffee, or anything else, at someone who isn't. Her arse should be in front of a judge.

    I agree, but in the end, very good work by the responding police officers. No tickets, no courts, just appropriate apologies and life goes on.

    It's good to see cops doing the right thing. :):)
