Can you even comprehend the kind of damage a hot drink can do to your eyes? Screw burned skin, that stuff heals even with scars. When you lose vision, that’s permanent and irreversible.

So instead debating the issues you go around calling people lefties or what you think the label of the week is. Listen to yourself you are talking as if you know the coffee thrower personally. So keep your fantasybworld to yourself the rest of us will debate issues and have fun with political bantering.

I wouldn't call her a bitch, but that kind of thing is the reason most men end up fighting.

I think frustration with coronavirus, staying at home, masks, not working, etc, have people lashing out in some very unpredictable and extreme ways.

    True.

BUT, that DIDN'T happen, and no arrests were made.

Given your post history that liberal/Democrat beliefs are the only worthy ones, and the above comment, it seems that you condone the actions of the leftist woman.

Had the victim of battery not taken physical action, he should have insisted that charges be pressed on the woman. Let her learn that donning a mask does not make her morally or intellectually superior to others.Nor does it mean that she can trounce upon the rights of others.

It's not "belief" that wearing masks saves lives. It's a proven scientific fact.

Undermining science would normally be just "cute" but "wrong" in normal times. But in times of a pandemic, when science is our only source of guidance on how to stay alive and end it as quickly as possible, it's outright... dangerous (I am not allowed to use a more appropriate word)

Putting this thread in the Covid forum is doing it a favor. In the Conspiracy forum it would be more appropriate. But simply tagging it as the threat to public health that it is, would have been the best choice, imo

    hmm

guys were outside. Leftist had to walk toward them as they were more than 6 feet away. Masking up was moot to her had she kept away. I don't see your point other than deflecting from the topic or, do you believe that since she is an aficionado of the mask, that it makes her superior and she had the right to perform battery upon another?

Well... you brought a story from a right-wingnut rag. The story itself is of no value. What I'm commenting on is your argument to the moderators, in which you claim that wearing masks to end this pandemic is a "belief". It is not. It's scientific fact. Your denial of science, on the other hand is a "political belief" And it's fine to have beliefs. But in this case it must be made clear that your belief puts human lives in jeopardy, and it's what has extended this pandemic to last longer and kill more people than it does in any country where your belief is not widespread, or supported by an educationally impaired President* like ours.

As for the rest, looks like they all come from right wingnut media. But it is true that a lot of people don't take kindly to others putting their life in jeopardy just because they decided to deny reality.

I'll take that to mean that she had the right to commit battery since she was masked up.

Here's the thing, mask mandates state if you can't socially distance, then mask up. I'd say these gents were more than 6 feet away yet she chose to go near them. Mask ahoy. Leftists really are pathetic with their superiority complex

Battery is illegal. And a story about somebody who commits battery is no excuse to deny science or to not wear masks.

I don't know about "leftists". IMO, anybody (left or right) who understands science is intellectually superior in dealing with this pandemic to anybody (left or right) who doesn't.

and there we have it. The woman was justified in getting close to the 2 men and tossing hot coffee onto one of them.
She was masked up outdoors and that gives her the right and in fact, it's her duty to attack people who are outdoors away from others but unmasked.

Thanks for making yourself clear; It's pathetic when I read those who feel they are superior to others. I wish you well with that attitude

WHO admitted last month that there is no direct evidence as to the efficacy of masks, and they admit that one of the purposes is a sort of false sense of security.

please don't let the poster redirect the topic from a maskanista who perpetrated an unprovoked attacked upon a man.

now, to the article that you linked; this below is the money shot. "making people FEEL like they are doing something"

that is why politicians are pushing masking up; appearances of doing something, albeit useless

While masks do not prevent the spread of viral infections, the WHO still makes a case for universal mask-wearing, citing benefits such as reduced stigmatization of people caring for COVID-19 patients in nonclinical settings, making people feel like they're doing something to help, serving as a reminder to be compliant with other measures, and economic benefits for people who can sew homemade masks

I disagree with you. She's not. Intellectual superiority (at least in one topic) doesn't justify aggression.

For some people, not me, the only "credible reference" is a government approved site. They are not interested in reading anything else.

Definitely not this government's. But if you're going to claim that WHO made this or that statement, the obvious thing to do would be to post the WHO website. Not a Conspiracy website, like the one you quoted, that provides no link to the actual statement.

That's how things work in a serious debate.

What a couple of morons and I mean the masked couple. Example number 74398, showing who the rude and violent people truly are. What kind of piece of trash throws coffee in someone face for no reason? Girl must be on drugs. Soy Boy might be reevaluating his relationship.

those who believe themselves to be morally and intellectually superior to others.

Our relatives fought in Europe to defeat a movement that had those same exact beliefs, that they were the superior race. Leftism is based upon the belief that they know what is best for everyone, even if that means genocide, infanticide etc.

Maskanistas are just the visible representation of a much larger cancer that grows inside. Masking up emboldens those who already feel superior
