How about we consider practical steps that patriotic Americans can take, to end the slide (drive?) to a marxist hell hole? 1. Boycott enemies of the American Experiment. Amazon, professional sports, advertisers on anti American media shows. ..anyone and everyone who contributes to the destruction of America should be viewed as a deadly enemy, and NO SUPPORT, or tolerance given. 2. Move out of cities that have become steeped in anti American ideology, race baiting bigotry, and mob rule. Take your money with you. Let them enjoy the full benefit of their socialist delusions. 3. Don't pay any taxes, to any complicit entity that supports this marxist insurrection. 4. Speak up! It is past time to live in fear and timidity, and pretend that appeasement and tolerance of domestic enemies will placate them. It will not. These enemies will not be happy until America is destroyed, and their delusional marxist utopia is in place. If you hear someone, or a group ranting about the evils of America, correct them, with indignation. Drastic change requires drastic measures. The left will not relinquish power willingly. It must be wrested from them. This is no time for half measures. America herself is at stake! Yes, your comfort zones will be disrupted. Your plans for leisure and ease will needs be postponed. But we are at a critical crossroad. Freedom, or bondage? Law and order, or anarchy and chaos? Rule of Law, or elitist decrees? Enlightenment principles, or marxist fantasies? What ideas do you have, for practical, effective solutions to resist the marxist revolution going on now?
We can start by contacting our Senators who recently voted on importing more labor from India and remind them that many Americans have lost their jobs permanently because of the shutdown. There are over a half million Indians in the queue and the Senate voted almost unanimously to expedite their entry and green card applications. This is to help out their friends in the Fortune 500 and does nothing for America.
Perhaps instead of lashing out to build your America we could try to work together to build a better America.
There was a comedy value in this, given the Enlightenment- as the age of reason- would actually require Marxism to be embedded within pluralist critique. Without that pluralism folk are slaves to politicians like Trump, aren't they?
Good luck with that. On paper, I'm sure your sentiments appeal to many. But the very fact that Amazon is as successful as it is shows that it isn't just Dems using their services. And I don't see people giving up their Amazon fix. And moving out of Dem states? Again, I understand your sentiment, but do you think the unemployed who are suffering financially have the financial ability or the desire to be pulling up stakes and seeking red shores anew anytime soon? As for taxes - sure, withhold them. Good luck with that. I'm all for protesting and free speech. But expecting Americans - red or blue - to give up creature comforts is not going to happen.
Yeah, Bezos is such a Marxist. The OP seems to list things he disagrees with; Amazon, sports, advertisers, media, cities and taxes, and calls them Marxist. Not a well thought out argument. Suggesting we bring down one of the world's most successful capitalists in a fight against Marxism is lunacy.
Destroy the concepts and subsequent economic policy established over the last 40-odd years. Without the power base the policy has created we might be able to turn this country around fairly quickly. It doesn’t have much to with Marxism but then again neither do our issues.
