I see conjecture and assumptions. If youre not black, then you don't really know why and youre trying to whitespain. There is no metric that has been delivered yet of why blacks vote for democrats 90% of the time.

With over 40% of working Americans, at the height of our employment picture of 3.5% unemployment, only earning $15 an hour and the majority of the 40% a lot less then poverty covers a broad swath of both black white and Asian employees. All of these 40% regardless of race or ethnicity need a raise in pay and a better standard of living.

It goes back to when JFK helped MLK get out of Jail and RFK helped the Civil Rights movement.

    Those are the origins.

You clearly want to impose your ideological disposition on others. Your blatant bias - pretending that opposition to contriving additional barriers to voting means thinking that "blacks are too stupid to get a voter ID" - exposes your prejudice.

Every American's right to decide her political affiliation is as valid as yours. Don't let anyone convince you that you are being duped into voting as you do unless and until you yourself come to see it that way.

    Good luck with that.

Black Americans are used to being demeaned, with bigots insisting that they are incapable of making intelligent decisions for themselves.
Most Americans may not vote as you would wish them to, but your whining about it will not cause them to surrender at your insistence.

Want a real honest answer? I'll give you one but you'll pretend it doesn't matter ...

Here's the simple answer in a graph -

    atlas_BJBVu2-P7.png

The biggest jumps in household income over the last 50 years for Black Americans has been the time when JFK and Johnson were President and when Clinton was in office. The worst time periods was when Reagan and Bush II were in office.

Now the Obama years were generally good, and while the Trump years started off OK, they have crashed into mass
unemployment for Black Americans at this point.

Now I know you'll say, "But ... but ... It's the Democrats fault ..." but the average American ASSOCIATES good and
bad times with who is in the White House, not who was mayor at the time. They remember that JFK and Johnson passed
    the big Civil Rights legislation.

You wanted an explanation, I've given it to you. So now you can pretend it never happened.

Again, that is 50+ years removed. And Johnson was out right racist who looked down on blacks. He did it for purely political reason to sign the CRA and VRA. You know his quote, but I can remind you.

Why do so many older white male evangelicals with limited education vote for Trumpery?

I'm sure that they have their reasons, and the right to hold them.

And? As weve seen those who would be most hurt by government raising the min wage would be minority communities because their hours will be cut. Or, the price for living in that area will go up. Its another reason why NYC is one of the highest cost of living areas while the southern rural areas can be comfortable at a much lower income level.

Also, You brought in the "40%" metric, now lets see the metric of who makes up that 40% demographically since you say whites, blacks, and Asians are in there.

No, there are origins of blacks swapping over in the 1940s. But again, why is it not different now when its been 50 years of devoted loyalty to democrats and yet the economic mobility for blacks has been stagnant.

That is literally why the left says they cant get an ID. Blacks have voted in higher numbers since states have implemented voter ID laws, yet democrats still claim they cant get a ID to vote.

Well, I would like to hear the reasoning from a black person on why they still vote for democrats. If there is some other valid reason other than saying "the GOP is racist", then they have their ideology. I just want to read their reason with something objectionable. I am not being judgemental, nor do I think they HAVE to vote republican instead. To me, it just boggles the mind to be stuck in the same place for 50 years and think a new democrat will fix that situation.

Like how Candice Owens, Kanye, Ben Carson, Herman Cain are lambasted for supporting Trump because they are black?

I do not know -- I am not African American. I am among a sizable minority of Jews who view Totalitarian Left as The Greater Evil:

I see that, both races jumped at the same time. Its not like one went up and another went down. And really, the POTUS is not the greatest influencer of income. As Detroit and Flint and Chicago, and NYC are going down, other places are going up in wealth. Baltimore is a **** show. There are a lot of blacks who live in suburbs and rural areas for sure, but 51% live under democrats running their cities. And with people like Deblasio and AOC running businesses out of town, or hiking up min wage to $15/hr, those most effected are minorities without jobs because their hours get cut. It happens in democrat cities, where crime is the worst, and those most effected are poor blacks of that city.

Your graph only shows 2 races, why doesn't all people vote for democrats if its a money thing, or do you think money is black peoples only motivation in life?

And the people of the South changed from Democrats to Republicans at the same time.
You don't soon forget abuse like the blacks have endured from the Southern whites.

    Why would someone vote for:
a party that does away with fair housing policies that would allow them to move into your neighborhood
a party who calls them thugs or lazy
a party that tries to make it more difficult for them to vote
a party that won't recognize or discuss any grievances about race and calls them complainers and race baiters
a party that thinks they don't vote for them because are too stupid to vote for them
a party where it is more difficult for people who look like them to become candidates
a party that claims you have to accept their "culture" while they ignore your "culture"
a party who doesn't care if you are offended by symbols that remind you of a racist past such as statues and flags
a party that denigrates your heroes like John Lewis...

just off the top of my head.

Perhaps Republicans failed African Americans in many ways.

I view Democratic suppression of Free Speech as the Great Evil, but Republican Platform also has enormous flaws. Perhaps they were unfair to Minorities.

So help me out here. Can you show the representational data that maps to this one? Like, for example, highest educational grade achieved? Number of single family households. Number or percentage of households receiving federal/state/local aid?

Black voters created a 3rd tier loser
    into the Democratic nominee apparent.

    It Is POWER BLOCK Voting
What promises do you suppose Biden gave?

Don't ask them to think of the nation nor their wallets.
    It is about Black Power.

Why do people not mention Obama is half White?
Raised by his White grandparents for a while.
