A new campaign promise came out from trump and much like his previous statements this one will go down with the likes of

Mexico will pay for the wall
Beautiful healthcare package on day 1 that will save everyone money
He will drain the swamp in Washington..... still waiting on that one it's gotten much worse
A new middle east peace deal.. with Kushner on the job what could possibly go wrong
And a deal with China.. that's coming along great huh..

And now his new one. He will have a deal with Iran within 4 weeks of being elected... of course it can happen before you just have to trust him on that one like our middle class tax cut..

Save the laughs because he is clearly delusional if he thinks that will happen. Why on earth would Iran want to deal with us or even trust trump after he tore up the last one.
Only a insane person would think like that. You trump supporters think Biden is off his rocker well clearly trump is...

You mean like, "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan"?

He does it because stupid people (i.e. his base) believe every word he says.

So just because you didnt keep your plan that makes Obama a bad person at least trying to fix a broken system. And that is the only thing you can turn to in regards to this thread?
Who in their right mind would think Mexico would pay for a wall here in the states?

Politicians make all kinds of promises on the campaign trail.

In general, people over-promise because they don't know how to say "no".

His EO display on Saturday was nothing more than another of his campaign promises - another that hasn't been thought out and is not feasible on the delivery side. His press secretary could not give a date as to when the payments would start. State Governors are saying that they learned of Trump's plan when he signed it and don't have the money to pay their portion.

He tries to motivate people who can make it happen make it happen. Seems pretty obvious but not the way Washington normally works. He was elected to change how Washington works, after all.

No the swamp is deeper than ever. The divide couldn't be bigger and trump plays a huge hand in it. He always plays the blame game.

Can you name a politician who takes responsibility for his or her negative actions? Are there any who just say "I was wrong?"

But every time people call Obama a liar they go for the exact same set of 3-4 lies. The same ones. Over and over. It would be hard to pick 3-4 favorite Trump lies just in a single speech, and his lies about his own healthcare plan were way, way worse. Hell, he claimed he would get us universal healthcare, that the government would pay for whoever couldn't afford it, and that it would be cheaper than Obamacare. There's three grandiose lies about the exact same topic, and all three were spoken in the same minute of each other.

Sorry, but no one in US politics seems to be able to keep up with Trump when it comes to sheer volume of lies.

As for his promises . . . that's been his entire career. He's an empty suite. He sells fantasies.

Again, if you talk about the lies of any other politician, the same small set of examples of, say, 3-4 come up. It would be hard to pick 3-4 favorite lies just from one Trump interview. He's always done it, since well before he was a politician. He's a bullshit artist. Again, much more so than your typical politician.

Yeah, I get it. The television says Trump is the worst ever. Liar! Hitler! Dictator! Fascist! Nazi! Russia! And you believe it. All of it.

    Go Borg!

I don't do commentary. I listen to what he says, and he lies. Constantly, and I say that as someone who has defended him against some of the other accusations you just listed. But a certain faction can't come to terms with reality and must hold Trump above all criticism. Anyone who criticizes him must be part of a conspiracy, hates America, blahblahblah. And you believe it. All of it. Go Borg!

I pointed out that your accusations were incorrect and that you are, instead, engaging in the same unthinking, irrational groupthink that you are accusing others of. It's just like the "orange man bad" brain fart -- the person saying it uses it to "respond" to criticism of the President so that they aren't tempted to think about said criticism, and they pretend that the person making the criticism isn't interested in a debate . . . when they are the ones mindlessly and robotically trying to shut down the debate so that they never have to consider silly things like evidence.

I've defended Trump against claims of Hitler, Dictator, Fascist, Nazi, etc., but the facts don't care about your feelings. He's a serial liar. He lies constantly. This is objective reality. I'm sorry that it upsets you, but it won't stop it from being true.

Well, for starters, Biden and McCain admitted they were wrong about Iraq and Obama admitted he was wrong about Libya. Lots of politicians have admitted mistakes. I doubt we'll ever see Trump do so, however.
