Everyone of them told you that?

Didn't you see the story about Cuomo wanting rich people to come back to New York?

Many of us already did. But you didn't answer my question: if a billionaire agrees with this tax grab, then why doesn't s/he just write a check to the treasury now rather than be forced to do it? An even better question would be why don't we make the Chinese pay for our free healthcare since they're the ones who gave us their china virus?

No friend, not "anything". Not the type of structure Sen Sanders and the other Marxist-socialists are trying to bring about. Because each and every single time their ideas and implementations have been tried the result has been mass oppression, mass regression, and mass death. And given how important America is to the world our collapse would flirt with global apocalypse.

    "Trying to Bring About"?:roflol:

It has ZERO Chance of (actually) being implemented..

    So, why worry?

And, as far as "Flirting with Global Apocalypse", having a POTUS (who is Russian Puppet) like Trump, the USA is already headed in that direction.

Let me explain to you who signs off on the spending bills at the end of the day ... The President.
He can veto the bills if he doesn't agree with the amounts spent. Trump has not vetoed any spending bills.
In fact, Trump is trying to pass an Executive Order that spends $trillions more dollars than Congress has voted on.

Sorry. The buck stops with Trump - just like it did with Obama. And Trump has authorized spending more money
in four years than Obama did in 8 years. That's just a simple fact.

And Trump can veto any spending bill he doesn't like. Trump has signed off on every spending bill. The buck stops
with him unless he vetos and Congress over-rides.

Pot calling the kettle black - semantically speaking... :) Who / which entities are clamoring the loudest for the dearth of 'our' tax dollars - in the trillions, to be wantonly cast...?

Both parties want to spend more. Just on different things. A tax cut is still money spent when it isn't joined with spending cuts.
So when Republicans cut taxes but then raise defense spending, it's a double hit on the National Debt.

In the end, Trump's tax cuts will cost us $trillions of dollars. He reduced revenue while at the same time spending more
than any other President in history. That adds hundreds of billons each year in interest payments. So I see Republicans pretending to be fiscally conservative, but it's pure BS in the end.

I appreciate your thoughtful response. I might disagree w/ you on a facet or two but am, none the less, glad that we can agree on the preponderance... :)

A 60% wealth tax will never pass in congress, not by Democrats or Republicans. Like I said, get a grip.

Don't righties know how to think this stuff through? So scared of an angry old man ... sheesh.

IOW, you know that "Trump cannot spend a dime that the House DP party bosses do not appropriate."

Yes, the House alone holds the unchecked power of the purse.
The DP House can cut spending at will without the approval of the other branches.

We have learned from Bernie that all businesses big or small are owned by filthy rich capitalists, and ALL should be taxed to death. I am going to have to start auditing all my small employer clients because many of them seem to be barely hanging on while trying hard to keep their employees employed, I can only assume that my little Mom and Pop clients are really behind the scenes trying to find a way to buy a third luxury yacht and not really trying to just keep their doors open, evil sons a bitches.

Sanders never said any such thing.

Again, I don't get the right wing worry here. Sanders does not have the power to enact policy, period. This entire thread is bogus click bait.

Good question. What were the tax rates when we started killing Red Coats?

The problem with the Bern is that once you take money from the rich and use it to buy pharm products for people, is that sickness will increase faster than they can increase taxes. The end result will be not enough people well enough to be in the work force and the rich don't have enough money to medicate everyone for long.

    I prefer to self-medicate. :smoking:

Again, you guys are scared of an angry old man's policies when he has zero power to enact any.

Sanders is not a socialist. He is a bitter old man who has accomplished very little and likes to play pretend but this faux "revolutionary" will always prostrate himself in front of his democrat betters.

But to avoid being criticized for being senseless, he would have avoided bringing something up that only lasts a year. If he took the other 40% the following year he would add to the homeless problem and still not have enough to finance his crazy dreams.

Well in name only. I think he wants to be one but other than vilifying wealth he knows nothing about the ideology. Especially it's history of failures and how to implement it.
