Did Yahweh do us a favor by denying us eternal life?

Denial is not your friend - it is a simple Truth that you are pretending not to grasp.

I agree with Ayn Rand, Your life is its own purpose.

I'd love to live eternally, I'd find something to do. The Universe is still bigger than all the things I could learn about in it, even given all the time there is. They say that once the Universe attains heat death and ultimate entropy there will be true nothingness; no stars, no light, no nothing, total darkness forever.

Sounds neat, doesn't it? I'm going to see it too.

Once I leave this life I've arranged to be frozen and revived once immortality is achieved, and I'll see you then. Heaven can wait.

If life was it's own purpose, to the religious world, Eve would have eaten of the tree of life and not the tree of all knowledge.

Religiously speaking or not, I think more like a life without new things impacting it or it having a real purpose or goal/challenge, is without purpose.

One thing that I have noticed about this life is that each time we sleep we seem to get a true new beginning for the next day.

Because fallen angels probably don't exactly sleep....... I would guess that their mood and sense of despair can get worse and worse and worse.

This book by near death experiencer Christian Andreason is thirteen chapters... they are all there for you to read for free..... and I cannot imagine you wading through this rather astonishing book without feeling something of a greater sense of hope for the afterlife.

Do not exist except in the minds of the delusional.

    Logos trumps your mythos.

Or you could be incorrect and seriously off track?

Been there... done that.... got the t-shirt but things seem to be going much better lately........ (especially since 1990 when I began to read those near death experience accounts).

More fiction for the less astute.

If you cannot tell delusion from reality ----- and accept idiocy as reality -----
