I am not comparing anything. I stated that the Wash Post headline about Robert Trump death is dispicable.

I am discussing the concept of trashing someone in their obituary. The obituary should be facts not opinion of any kind. Who, when, where, why if the why is appropriate and substantiated.

I wouldn’t call David Leavitt a journalist and it was the president of a single city chapter of the NAACP. What other journalist have sent that hashtag?

Probably because people don't care, just like Trump didn't care about 160k deaths from covid-19 when he said, "it is what it is".

You might not call David Leavitt a Journalist, but AOL (yes, they are apparently still around), Yahoo, CBS and the Examiner claim otherwise. As far as the NAACP, it does not matter how many leaders act in the despicable manner. Until the organization reigns him in, he represents them.

But what about the rest of the 77,000 tweets?

this is a time for American's to be united against the chi com virus, which is not a 'conspiracy' beyond a reasonable doubt.

war with china should be voted on, President Trump cannot have a war unless it is funded by congress.

Why because trump has yet to show any decency to anyone? Why should I give any condolences to that dispictable person. I dunno his brother's other surviving relatives so I feel for them just not trump himself.

    Maybe

Never he should have chose unity a long time ago instead he used decisiveness and has divided this country to depths not seen since the civil war.

    Opinions, everybody has one.

So, how many American's would have died if Trump did exactly as the armchair quarterbacks would have deemed correct?

    Be specific.

And judging by how fast they mentioned Lewis, that precautionary remark was absolutely on target. The left can't find it within themselves, because it was Trump's brother.

I asked if Hillary Clinton would have done better, and got crickets. Large crickets.

Gotta love the critics without solutions that would actually work. They're so cute anguishing over their own failure, scrambling to blame anyone else.

I don't think anyone here has shown any disrespect for Trump's brother in any way.
What is it exactly that you are expecting them to say other than RIP?
From the only photo I saw of him, he looked like a genuinely nice person.
Someone you might want to get to know just by the smile on his face.

TBH, there were a couple things that I felt Trump could have done better, more in the PR department than anything, but no country has had a 'perfect' response. This virus was called a novel virus for a reason: it was new, no one had a full grasp of how contagious it was, who it affected the most, or how to contain it or address it.

Those that claim 'Trump killed X Americans', are trying to convince themselves that they knew better than people who deal with things of this sort as a career, and they too were not sure what would work and how fast.
